Unclassy, but kinda true. I just know that I myself don't wanna hear a word of trash talk from TxSU mouth this season..... That would just be silly...... Just plain silly!!! What would they say? They are in a lose/lose situation... If they have a great season, everyone knows why... And if they don't, well.... That would be a crying shame! They have one of the greatest trumpet players of the past 4 years in their squad now....

So, like I said, they better be good, but when and if they are, we ALL KNOW WHY!!!!!

Your statemnts are shull bit. One person doesn't have shot oto do with how well a marching band does. It is a unit and they work together. There are several grat trumpet players in that march.

And the state ment that I made regarding the titleof this thread had nothing to do with what you are talking abvout. You do not even know the story truthfully about that title toeven comment on it. That came from something that happened along time ago that was blown wayyyyy out of proportion. The thread title is FARRRRR from the truth. You'r new schjool and you don't know shat about the Ocean are it's past . so STFU

1 untouched, untrained, know-nothing crab doesn't make a difference, but this cat is a trained BEAST! I'm not saying he gonna change yall style or nothing like that, I'm saying that everyone in your section/band will step they game up a lot because they not gonna want "that Southern n***a"(That's prolly what yall call him) to shine. And as far as me saying it would be a shame if yall didn't have an amazing season is for that same reason. If yall don't step it up, that would speak a lot of your pride....

And sorry about the misunderstanding in my earlier post....

Apology accepted . LikeIsaid before there are quiote a few cold trumpet players that are in the section now that have been there and I'm nottalking about a person that can just scream etc. I'm talking about people that shine in allseason's of Band from marching to wind ensemble to Jazz band . DOnot think that there isn't talent in the Ocean. The crab from SU is good and has SWAC hours but understand that he isn't alone.

Oh, I never said he would make the section, because you're right, 1 person don't make or break a section, but..... I know trumpet players are sensitive about screaming.... When they are top dog, they get that superstar mentality and big egos. I never doubted the caliber of yalls players, I just know that egos collide, and the person who's been there for 4, 3, or even 2 years would willingly kill themselves trying before they gonna let "that Southen *****" come out on top.

Not trash talking anyone, I'm arrogant, but I'm not a hater.... This is just my personal theory of how things will play out...

But you said someone in T-connection would have a problem letting this dude shine. That doesn't occur in the Ocean and to clarify this .......HE WASN'T RECRUITED. What you said wasn't arrogant, it was hating. Especially you agreeing even somewhat with the "Ocean that Stole" comment. Again for you, HE WASN'T RECRUITED. You set trippin' dude.

Okay, yall may not have recruited/stole, but in the legal world, accepting stolen goods is also a crime!! But, let's use the term hand-me-down...

I remember as a young lad, my cousin had a fresh pair of Retro V's... Everytime I would wear them, someone be like "Damn, you fly as hell all of a sudden..." that's when I would have to go into the explanation.... Its not like I was some wack lil lame or somethin, its just that suddenly, my sneaker game stepped up outta nowhere... And I must say, that in the post about good trumpet sections.... I didn't hear very much mention..... But I did hear LOADS about them Demons....

As far as you saying people don't care about letting others shine.... Hmmmm.... That's very cute!! All I have to say is if one of yall might maybe could almost possibly be better than JP, trust it won't last long, because in the long run, he is a Juke, and we ALWAYS come out on top!!!

If he wanted to be a Juke, he would be at SU. But he wanted to be in the Ocean. Oh by the way, there is no "I" in Team.
