I don't think our administration has begged him for money off the strength of Cookie's ties to AAMU ...It just so happens his wife's family member is a well known normalite and they come to visit ever so often just like others visit their families. I don't think it would be right to hassle him over money when he is just coming to see family...that's wrong and not the way to operate as a school

I know Steve Harvey has ties to Southern via his wife and I'm pretty sure Tyler Perry has ties to Southern and Grambling being that he's from New Orleans, but it make no sense to beg for money from them just because they had family members who attended college at your school. I take this thread as means of trying to get your shine on when dark days have come upon you.

It makes them feel as if big things are about to happen and Da Queen is doing an outstanding job. And the money they spent on a project (domed stadium) that probably will never happen and will never get questioned on how the funds for the proposal was spent.
