McNeese Cowgirls...we are gonna beat that arse!

Suge

The Phat Mack
I think the title of this post says it all. Unlike the sippi buffoons, I don't care where you live, or what you people do for a living. And if you ar eblack or white, isn't an issue for us either. What I do know is that we are about to come to that simple minded town and take over.

We are about to get in your arses like a virus at a day care center! You haven't seen an arse whipping like the one we are about to give. We have absolutly no respect for your program, or your school. We are an ICON of college football. Known from Maine to Miami, New York to LA...while you are hardly known at all.

You suck more than a porn star in a gang bang video, and we are going to run circles around you like a nascar driver on Sunday! Bend your punk arses over, and prepare to get a big black and gold boot kicking you square in the arse!

Frat, how dare you smack a PWC???

Don't you know the TINYs on the board will be offended ???

Think about all the Alabama posters that you have just dissed...

:D :D :D

:lmao:

Go GSU!!!

GO SWAC!!!

This is gonna be sooo much fun! We win one conference championship (Southland) in our season opener and the real (SWAC) championship at the end of the season. Another Double Championship for the ICON!

And after much doubt, we find out from today's Lake Charles American "Mess" that the band will also be making the trip. McNeese, like Nicholls last year, did not wanna pay for the GSU band to be there but a way has been made. In fact, the band is gonna put on a show a few hours after a march from the Lake Charles Civic Center to Cougar stadium near the campus of Lake Charles-Boston High School, in order to fund the trip. Sure will be nice to not have to leave Lake Charles to see the G-Men. I'm only a few blocks from Cougar stadium and about 3 miles from McNeese's stadium. I can't wait for August 31st. Grambling's band to make McNeese trip (7/19)

STAFF REPORTS
Grambling State University's marching band will perform at halftime of the Grambling-McNeese football game on Saturday, Aug. 31, at Cowboy Stadium.

The band's appearance is being funded by the Grambling University Band Foundation, according to foundation president Allen Joe Mitchell Sr.

The band will also march at 10 a.m. on game day from the Civic Center east on Mill Street and turn south on First Avenue to Cougar Stadium at Lake Charles-Boston High School.

The band will perform at 2 p.m. at Cougar Stadium. Mitchell said that there will be an admission charge for the performance to help cover the expenses of the band's travel.

You guys talk big, being from a league that went 0-15 in the IAA playoffs before it got tired of getting its head handed too it and stayed home. And don't come with the "on the road" stuff...the MEAC's had to do that too and it's not sitting there with a big fat goose egg.

However good Grambling is, McNeese has seen...and beaten... better. Much better.

Playoff smack? ha ha ha!

Well...... when we come and take over your high school stadium we will show you just how we treat 2nd rate programs like you. We have absolutly no respect for you. We are an ICON of football, and you are nowhere near being on our level. We have not only played and beaten, but thrashed teams with far greater talent that you simple clowns. You are in for a beating like a kid caught stealing.

There will be no mercy for you cowards!

Mack's Neice State is in trouble and they know it...or at least they will find out on Aug 31st. It's sad to see you bought into the 1AA playoff misinformation that the NCAA releases. When GSU, McNeese, LaTech, Delaware, and all small colleges were considered Division II (small college), we had some playoffs wins.
Of course the media overlooks this fact and Clarence Thomases like you MEAC clowns buy into it!

However, our regular season record against PWC's is pretty dayum good...much better than any of the MEAC schools. Just remember that we have played and beaten teams better than Mack's Neice and definitely much better than anyone over in the Meek-Act conference.

Ask your conference mates over at Alcorn State whether or not they think McNeese is at Grambling's level after playing both teams last season. And I'm glad you don't have any respect for your opponent. I hope Grambling's players are like that too, and I hope they mouth off a lot publicly about it before the game.

You can be sure that McNeese State DOES respect Grambling and they're going to take the Tigers seriously. VERY seriously.

I'm sure our players respect all of their opponents. As a player...I did to, well maybe not PV. Anyway.........our players will do just like yours, and not say anything on the press.

But I am a fan, and as a fan. I think your program is about as exciting as snails playing chess at high noon on a pontoon boat! An if Alcorn is what you are expecting, then you are in for one rude awaking. We are going to roast you panzies like a hog at a luau! This is custers last stand, and you cowgirls are custer.....we are the indian chiefs.

You have as much a chance at winning this game as dog has at living in a chinese restaurant.

You need to realize that we're not Alcorn. We're the ICON that is Grambling! Ask your conference mates at Nichols about the physical brand of football we play...but then again, they will just make excuses like yall will after Aug 31st.

It's no disrespect towards, Mack's Neice. It's just that we're the ICON that is Grambling...we expect to win every game we play! I'm sure Mack's Neice is capable and will probably win all the rest of their games...but that's not gonna help them at all when they line up against the GMEN.

I'm not saying we don't respect yall, it's just that we don't respect yall!

When GSU, McNeese, LaTech, Delaware, and all small colleges were considered Division II (small college), we had some playoffs wins.

What years were those? I don't think the Small College Div. had any playoffs when we were in it. And I don't think we were ever in Div II when it was formed. We were Div I in football from 1975-1977. When Div I-AA was formed in 1978 we were Div I-A from 1978-81. We only dropped to Div I-AA in 1982. I don't think we ever had any playoffs to play in before we went to Div I-AA.

Maybe McNeese didn't win enuff games to qualify. The Southland Conference (at that time) included La Tech, Lamar, USL, Ark State, Northeast. Tech was the dominant program of the conference and even won a national championship during the 70's.

In 1973, Grambling College participated in the playoffs and defeated the Delaware Blue Hens. The next week, the NCAA ruled that Grambling's 5th year seniors could not play in the game (causing about 8 total starters to miss the game). We lost
to Western Kentucky who the next week (due to injuries) lost to La. Tech for the National Championship.

Well, if there were Small College Division Playoffs the only years we would have been eligible would have been 1972, 1973, & 1974. I know there probably weren't any in 1971 because we went 9-1-1 and played in a bowl game. In 1972 we went 8-3, in 1973 7-3-1, and in 1974 6-4-1. In 1975 we were in Div I and went 7-4. 1976 was the year we won the first Indy Bowl.

I remember the 1976 team yall had. I was at GSU at that time...I can't remember who yall played but I remember you guys winnning.

McNeese has a respectable program...it's about time that we played each other. We know that GSU is gonna win the game, but still it's interesting conversation to talk about it (the game) in advance. I'm sure your players are excited about playing one of the most storied and respected programs of all time. There's nothing wrong about getting your azz beat by the BEST!:D

If the basic stuff in this post is on here twice it's because something wierd happened the first time and as far as I can tell right now it didn't work. So I'm writing it again.

Last year McNeese played four teams that finished in the IAA top 15...two in the top 10...plus Texas A&M. As far as I can tell looking at the Grambling results at USA Today the Tigers didn't play ANYBODY that finished in the IAA top 25 and there weren't any Texas A&Ms on that slate either.

The Cowboys won't be facing a level of competition better than what they're accustomed to playing against. On the other hand, unless it's an unusual year for McNeese in that they don't have a playoff caliber team as they have for 9 of the last 11 seasons, Grambling's going to be running into something a whole lot tougher than anything the Tigers saw in 2001.

And I know Grambling isn't Alcorn State. But I also know McNeese rolled over the Braves like they weren't even a bump in the road while Grambling had a pretty good struggle with 'em.

I'll give the Tigers credit on Nicholls State. They didn't choke when the Colonels jumped out in front of 'em. But...as Grambling isn't Alcorn...McNeese ain't Nicholls State either.

We beat Tulsa in the 76 Indy Bowl. The media in Shreveport was having a fit before the game. The reason was that our fifth year seniors (like someone mentioned before) weren't allowed to play in the game and, on top of that, Coach Doland suspended some other players the week before because of a dormitory incident. The media up there thought we should bow out and let USL play in the game because we had so many starters not playing. They said there was no way we could win. They said we were playing our "J.V.'s" against Tulsa. Well, the morning after the local paper's headline said "McNeese JV's defeat Tulsa". That paper is framed and is hanging on the wall of the ticket off in the Field House. :-)

The McNeese-GSU game is going to be a fun game. I haven't seen this much excitement for a home opener in a long time.

Who the cfuk is Texas A&M? They ain't won worth a dayum since RC Slocum took over. Has he finished in the top 4 of the Big 12 since the expansion? Yet you bumpkins brag about losing to them...hell, we would have kicked them like a Brazilian practice ball.

I ain't impressed! Your conference only has 5 teams...and you struggle to win that. At least Northwestern had enuff sack to play a quality SU team. In the past you chose to schedule non-scholarship PVU and rebuilding Alcorn State. I have no respect for cowards.

You also mentioned that we struggled against Alcorn...NOT! We lead that game from start to finish and had a nearly 3 touchdown lead in the first game of the season until some late Braves "hail mary" passes. The outcome was never in doubt as we squashed their comback attempt. How did you fare in your game against Sam Houston State? I sorta recall you coming up short...typical!

Huh? Where'd you learn to count. Here go to this link and scroll down until you get to the Southland and count again:

USA Today Team Page

And while you are there, click on McNeese and check the results from last season and see how short we came up against Sam Houston. ???

And while you at it check out the Alcorn game boxscore. We had them down 38-0 at halftime and emptied the bench in the second half. We didn't have to worry about giving up any Hail Mary passes.

(Is that a little better, John).

;)
