Mayweather Vs. Pacquiao (So who you got?)


That fight sucked...Floyd ducked and pecked and Pacquiao couldn't catch 'em.

Wasn't the action packed fight people expected

Anyone that knows boxing knew this wouldn't be an ass whooping. This was classic Mayweather.

Right, people are mad at Floyd for fighting the way he's always fought. It was Pacquiao who didn't fight his normal fight, but that's the general dominance of Floyd.
 
I had it 118-110 for Money.



Why did Floyd have so much mercy on Pac. Anyone who follows Floyd knows that he doesn't usually touch hands with his opponent when the ref starts back the action. Also, Floyd Sr was on point in the corner screaming at Jr to throw his left hook after the straight! Jr wasn't listening and just continued to counter with jabs and sitting straights. He really let Manny get away with many mistakes without punishing him.


Anyway, another dominating performance by the greatest defensive fighter of all time. I wanted more action for my selfish reasons, but Floyd did win a clearly out point Pac due to his superior boxing skills.
 
Floyd won (no surprise here) but this is one fight that I didn't particularly enjoy and felt it was a lackluster performance. The hype was much better than the action. Any who, I will look at it again today to discern if my perspective changes..........lol

Rock Pacman simply didn't take the fight to Money like he did the others and that is the only way this fight would have looked differently.

You could see early on that his corner told him not to rush in on Money, hoping that Money would get frustrated and make a mistake.

That just wasn't going to happen. By the time they figured it out, Money had figured out what to do with him.
 
I said from day one that this fight reminds me of the hype of Sugar Ray and Duran II.

If you recall Duran quit in that fight because Sugar Ray unlike in their first fight didn't get suckered into going toe to toe with Duran to prove anything.

He used his superior speed and defensive skills to humiliate Duran, which ultimately lead to Duran quitting in the middle of the fight.

Even as great as he was, he was no match for Sugar Ray fighting him his style.

Simply put there is no one in today's game that can match Money's skill....Period.


Shane Mosley, Juan Manuel Márquez ( Who some say won the first fight and knocked out Pacman in a rematch ) , Oscar De La Hoya, Zab Judah, Victor Ortiz and Miguel Cotto and now Manny Pacquiao.

You don't have to Love him or hate him, but you got to respect him.

Ppl say Floyd ran. .umm what is he supposed to do, get hit? That's the difference between boxing and street fighting. His defense is flawless and it frustrates his opponents and his haters. Somehow, between all that"running", he threw and landed more punches than Manny. Maidana was a better fight but ppl really thought Manny had a chance? Lol

I don't care what nobody says, but Shane hurt Money and should have knocked him out. Money legs got wobbly, but Sugar let up on him.

Yep! Smart move. At the last minute I decided to do the DTV thing and the rest is monetary regret! lol!
I decided to record the event and the different sessions went like this: 1. First the Floyd/Manny Previews came up and I decided to click Delete dat!
2. Next the Mexican National Anthem....and I said wtf was that.....Delete!
3. Then the Philippine National Anthem..and I said wtf was that....Delete!
4. Then the Jamie Fox version of the US National Anthem and I said wtf was that....Delete!
5. Then the Actual Fight...A yawner but Mayweather fought his fight and won. Now I know why Manny was smiling all week and said "Thank You" to Floyd at the weigh in according to the announcers. He was probably thinking, "I'm making over 50 million bucks!"

I don't even remember the fight truth be told, but people were screaming last night that Pacman had him hurt. I'm convince more people get caught up in the feelings and see what they want to see.
 
Money reduces the chance of evil. Money also make you happy. You got friends when you have money. In any group there is one person that never have any money and the rest of the group do what? When you have money you don't have to say "wait until I get my Income Tax Refund or when my ship come in. LOL.
 
Has anyone heard make the fight close so that the purse would be bigger in the rematch. I think Mayweather was doing just that but it kind of backfired on him. The rematch won't quite generate as much as this recent fight.

Nah thats just the way he fights everyone. He could have taken a few more chances but that is every fight.

That's exactly what happened. People are so funny, they used to get mad when Tyson knocked his opponents out in the first round, because it was boring. This fight lasts 12 full rounds and it was"boring" smh lol. Money could've hurt Manny so many times. I believe they pulled a fast one on America. 300 mil fight. Plus Manny said his shoulder was hurt. Perfect set up for a re match. They not slick lol. I won't watch it tho.
