Went bar hopping with some colleagues a few weeks back and little chick from India had a few drinks in her and started squeezing on my arm..... I kept looking at my ring so I could stay strong... It wasnt easy.

A couple of years ago, the now-wife and I went to one of her friends' weddings (white folk). As I was indulging in that good gulf shrimp, some pretty Beck sat next to me and the missuhs and began striking a conversation with us...

We get in the car and the wife tells me, "you know that girl was checking you out."
I replied, "For real! I was all up on that shrimp to notice."
She said. "If I wasn't there you'd probably would've ...."
I replied. "If it was 20-something year old me, I would've had her paying my student loans. LOL."

Bruh, I think it behooves all to network. There are prejudiced black folks like there are prejudiced white folks. There's nothing wrong w/ a lil' cream in your coffee . No one said anything about not intermingling. That was an assumption you made when some folks made the accurate observation that the more elite white women rarely marry Black men. Your 16 cousins are the exception and not the rule, I guess. LOL

I was addressing 97's post like I addresed yours directly. You're attempting to intermingle my responses . I made no assumptions. I was very direct and honestly concise w/ both of my responses. My male cousins aren't the exception here, in this part of the usofa. This is almost the abnormal norm lol unless you go to one of those 90+% black areas. Nothing wrong w/ golf course communities mane. Visit and/or live there. You'll see first hand what I'm talking about lol.

No matter how much money a brotha has, he won't be marrying a 'WASP', or cream of the crop white lady with a trust fund. At the very best, it'll be a reformed trailer park queen with a lower-to-working class upbringing who's made something of herself....and again even that's a rare case.
