The Editor In Chief would like for everyone who is coming to the reunion to be on your best behavior. Realizing that AAMU has recently won another SWAC Championship, we feel that AAMU is moving toward our goal to dominate the SWAC in all sports. So we asked that you be kind to all the Dawgpound member who will be attending. Many of you have visited Elmore Gym and saw the many banners hanging from the ceiling. After this season, we will be hanging football banner in Crews Stadium. It pain me to have to wait until August 31, 2002 to get started on our first SWAC Football Championship. GSU the best of the former big three is the team we expect to play us in B'ham in December 2002.

The game is being played on the second weekend in December because all Huntsvillians must attend the Christmas Parade.

I have to mention this because SU has done so much for the conference, but seeing that they still don't have their football schedule completed, just made me sort of sick. We are taking them to Indy and on their schedule it says TBA. If SU wants out of the game just let me know and I will take PVAM to Indy. The good news is that each day I am contacted about tickets. People are buying them at a record pace. AAMU was the frist to sell out the Circle City Classic, therefore, I advise you to get your tickets early.

Enough about SU, You JSU folk are calling us 0-13 but remember
we will not be the same team you played last year. You see any coach that allows Story and Taylor to run straight down the field had to be let go. We will do like GSU and line up in one defense and act stupid.

The minus one team has no place to hide this year.

We are the Fighting Dogs.

DAMN ANNIE MAE...DID YOU PLAY THE GAME BY YOURSELF???

Here are a few points:<br>
<br>JSU ain't the only ones that call you 0-13, EVERYBODY DOES. I wonder why. MAYBE BECAUSE YALL ARE 0-13.<br><br>
No matter how hard you try, AAMU will never be Southern (dominating the SWAC in most Sports). <br><br>AAMU acts like they don't go many places much. Thats why they are bumrushing INDY.<br><br>
"The Editor In Chief would like for everyone who is coming to the reunion to be on your best behavior." Is that a nice way of asking us to not get in that arse for all that isht you done talked. Just get you some drank, and sit in the corner with you mouth shut and that Bulldog shirt turned inside out. Nobody gonna mess with out. <br><br>"have visited Elmore Gym and saw the many banners hanging from the ceiling." Them D2 banners don't count.

Lewis, thank you for responding to the Editor's comments.

Representing a school that just got lights on your one practice field and losing one of your prize students from Texas, why would we want to be like SU? We don't worry about names, in fact, I asked on a previous thread that you all list all the names that you have given to the future leaders of the SWAC. Just think about what you are saying. But let me help you out a little.

SU reached it potential years ago in athletics. There is no vision in your athletic department. Your money is short and you cannot compete with an up and coming program.

We gone see who's program is tighter in da fall....stay tuned. Talk all your big talk now, we will have the last word.

Dtown Jag, We don't have to wait til next year. Just look at this year. Just list the championships we won and the championship they won (Bet Mighty Dog won't do that). Our pratice field may not have lights, but our stadium does, and them lights was on when we beat dat arse this year. The Big 3 is still strong.

Lewis,
Don't even get into the outlandish and make no sense rhetoric that MD speaks. He does that only to make it seem like AAMU is doing great things. If he is happy with their one SWAC title a year in all sports then so be it. You see AAMU may have the facilities but do not have a complete Athletic program. In D2 you don't have to have that. What they forgot was to leave the D2 mentality behind when they joined the SWAC. All they could see was Football and Basketball. They did not realize the SWAC schools fielded other sports teams. I think Rudy bamboozled them. LOL.

MD
How can you even call us the former Big 3 when his school can't win not one SWAC title in more than one sport. 2 at the most and none in the Major sports. And for the SU money short statement. Well AAMU money must not be well spent, because they have nothing to show for all those outstanding facilities. Alot PWCs have great facilities, but no championships. Hell the Phoenix Suns have one the best NBA facilities and did not win one title. While the Rockets had a lesser facility and won 2. See where I am going with this. It is AAMU with no Athletic vision. SU went out hired a great womens' bball coach. We have an outstanding baseball and track coach. Pete has already help cause you to fire one coach. Next!!

So what rose colored glasses are you and AAMU looking through? BTW it is SU who is taking you to Indy. I mean you had to move your home game out of state to Indy. Do you really think there will be more AAMU fans there than SU? Better put in the 99 tape of the CCC and see how many SU fans where at that game. SMH@MD. Believe us when we tell you there is a reason why AAMU has not been back to the CCC since 90-91. GSU took you then. Now us. Hmmm. JSU goes next year. What were you saying about the Big 3. I can't hear you. ~snicker~

ROTF

Dtown, there is a difference in what JR says and what I say. JR went around the horn without any knowledge of who does what at SU. As the Editor-In-Chief, I atleast do my research, but now that the band fan is gone, I have to work a little harder. What JR should do is sit down and talk to the football coach and his basketball coach and we compare notes.

Lewis everyone knows that the guy did not catch that pass, and you are proud of that victory. Everybody knows that the clock had expired in Elmore.

We won the softball championship. Our athletes get rings just like football and basketball athletes.

MD,
Please don't underestimate how close I am to the pulse of SU and what goes on there. I didn't sit in the SU System President's Box Suite at the BC as an invited guest for nothing.:D I sat right by your frat brother Earl Graves. Interesting fellow I might add. So believe me when I tell you I keep up with what's going on with my alma mater just like you do. I just don't live in Baton Rouge where I can go up there every day like you do AAMU in Huntsville. But I understand, what else is there to do. LOL

JR, didn't know you knew Earl, last time we talked he was on second base.

But "L" why didn't you tell me you could fire Pete. Were you at the first SCG Gala? I was sitting next to your President and his wife.

BTW, I think we will be coming back to the BC. We have not attended since joining the SWAC.

MD,
Actually I missed the SCG Gala waiting on my frat brother/best friend from JSU to arrive in B-ham. I saw the pics from the gala. You ole heads sure can............uh.............party. LOL. I will be there this year. BTW come on down to the BC. Maybe I can get you some suite tickets.:D

Naw MD,
I aint on your level with SU like you are with AAMU. Remember I just in my mid 30's and still have some folk to pass over before I can be like you MD. Tim Jag and others still have seniority. LOL. I am on my way though. Plus why would I want to fire Pete anyway? If anything I would give him a raise and all the help he wants. But like I said, I do know more than you might think. ;)

The Fall will be interesting. I have never seen Alabama A&M so ready to play us. All we did was move the game to indy. Well I guess if I was not part of the Nation, I would be excited too.

C'mon, now.
Pride is one thing, but get your facts straight.
Y'all didn't move ISH!
It was OUR home game that WE had the option to move if we chose to. If we decided not to go to Indy in 2002, y'all wouldn't be going either.:p

But we ARE going...and y'all ARE going to. Just kill the BS and just show up in Naptown when the time comes! :D

*Dayum...some folks think that the sun comes out just to shine on THEIR triflin' azzes....*
