Malone may take La. Tech assistant job

Just imagine The Mailman on the recruiting trail.

It could happen.
Kerry Rupp, who is expected to be officially introduced later this week as Louisiana Tech's new head coach, is close to bringing former Bulldogs and NBA star Karl Malone on board as an assistant coach.

Malane paid the bill to run the old coach out and recommended his friend....if it happens...it's a 1-year deal and it'll help his boy get his name out to an otherwise average program in my opinion
