I think this year’s MCC was one of the worst performances for both bands. AAMU’s band left in the middle of the first quarter and stayed gone the entire second quarter to change into their new uniforms. People go to the classic to also hear the bands, so it kind of sucked that AAMU’s band was absent the majority of the first half. Also, ASU should not allow their student section to perform with the band. It was a lot going on with ASU’s halftime show with the students on the field, and it takes away from their show. Lastly, it’s annoying when the bands play rap songs the entire game, especially AAMU. AAMU is definitely the trap music band. Switch up the song genres a little! Just my two cents.
