Mac or Pc

I am going to purchase a new computer. And I don't know if I should get a Mac or a Pc.

I get a discount of either being that I work for a ISP so price is not a issue.

The thing about the Mac is that they are cute. I really like the new one with the Circle base and the flat screen montior.

But with a Pc I have always had one. And I know how they work

Please help a sister out I want to buy one with in the next two weeks.

MAC vs PC

MAC is a cool computer... BUT, it's more profitable and benefical if you are a Graphics person (ie Web Master, Graphic Arts Specialist).

'Most' of the programs for the MACs are for Graphic Artist, or Gamers. It's not as strong in the areas of Business Applications.

You may notice the most Print Shops, Kinkos or Copy Centers, use MACs for their graphics, and making projects fort their customers.

I, myself would love to have a MAC, and plan on investing into one, but for those purposes.

Other than that... get yourself a good PC (DELL)!!

...they're not as Cool looking, becuase its more for business applications, but it should meet your needs.

I definitely wouldn't get a MAC, unless it was for the reasons that slick mentioned. However, IBM does have that new MAC that has a built in DVD burner....and I surely wouldn't mind having that.

I would recommend going to CompUsa or anywhere with them on display and give them a test run.. whichever one you feel comfortable on, GET IT..

Either one will get the job done..

I like that Mac G4 that got that 22" cinema monitor
hmm only 2200 extra....
