I saw the Saints for the first time last week against San Francisco. My observation led me to state that the Saints' defense is as soft as tissue paper. Yes, I like Aaron Brooks, and he can play. But he will have to throw for 2-3 TD passes per game. McAllister will have to score at least 1-2 TD per game. The Saint will have to probably score at least 24 points a game this season to have a winning season.

In other words the Saints offense will have a lot of pressure to score a lot of points because their defense can't stop anyone.

So MARK MY WORDS! The Saints will not even go to the Super Bowl as long as that defense plays like it is right now. Consider this. Jeff Garcia was running down the field in the Superdome. So I was wonder what Michael Vick would do. Well, he ran for 91 yards. Warrick Dunn ran for 142. Vick passed for 192. The Saints should be thankful that Vick is just a second year quarterback who is in his first season of starting.

Again their defense is soft. MARK MY WORDS! They will not even go to the Super Bowl as long as their defense plays like it is right now.

I like the Saints, but they are overrated. Mistakes by thier opponent are the only thing that helped them win last week and almost win this week.

Question on the Saints: Are they running questionable defensive schemes or are they lacking in personnel?

It's a question of players stepping up and making plays. The Saints have some good personnel, but they've been torched in the secondary and they haven't been able to get a good pass rush. It's the same old thing. They have a great offense but the defense lets them down. They were 6-1 coming into Week 8, but there were questions about their defense. It's a question of communication, because personnel-wise, the Saints are as good as any team in the league.

Or look at it this way. Basically, offense sales tickets. Defense wins championships. While the Bucs have a good defense, the Saints have a bad defense. And I do not see N.O. winning any championships this year. Heck, they may not make the playoffs this season.

Props to the ATL this weekend, I didn't think it could happen but it did.

MH, speaking of the lowly Hornets, can you people in the ATL please go to some Hawk games. Man, I have the NBA League Pass, when I tune in to Hawks games that's the most pathetic site in the NBA.

I mean there are literally empty sections in the stadium, and the sections that have people in them, you see some of them with only a few people on a row. That's sad.

EB, unless something catastophic happens, the Saints will make the playoffs. No, the Saints defense is not up to par, but name 5 teams right now that have complete teams.

Outside of Green Bay, who finally lost a second game this weekend, nobody in the NFL is a clear favorite, and no team is playing great offense, great defense, or great special teams.

Do you realize, the Steelers, Colts, and Titans, are sitting on top of their divisions, and they're barely over .500? The 49ers are the only team in the NFC West over 500, and Detroit, and Minnesota are tied for 2nd in NFC Central with 3 wins.

Again, congrats MH, but don't laugh to hard though, we'll see you again.

True, if Vick goes down, the playoff hopes of the Falcons will go with it. He should be getting MVP consideration.

As for the Saints', they have given up more than 20 points in every game this year. With McNabb going down in Philly, they will be hurting. St. Louis must keep winning after their 0-5 start. San Fran is the only winning team in the NFC west while Green Bay is the only winning team in the north. However, the Saints will have to tighten up its defense. After all they should remember last year.
