Liberal v.s. Conservative......

How do you tell the difference between Liberals, Conservatives and
Southern Conservatives?



I'll Pose the following question to give you guys the differences:


You're walking down a deserted street with your wife and two small
children. Suddenly, a dangerous looking man with a huge knife comes
around the corner, locks eyes with you, screams obscenities, raises
the knife, and charges. You are carrying a .45 Caliber Glock, and you are an
expert shot. You have mere seconds before he reaches you and your
family. What do you do?

Liberal Answer:

Well, that's not enough information to answer the question!

Does the man look poor or oppressed?

Have I ever done anything to him that would inspire him to attack?

Could we run away?

What does my wife think?

What about the kids?

Could I possibly swing the gun like a club and knock the knife out of
his hand?

What does the law say about this situation?

Does the Glock have appropriate safety built into it?

Why am I carrying a loaded gun anyway, and what kind of message does
this send to society and to my children?

Is it possible he'd be happy with just killing me? Does he definitely
want to kill me, or would he be content just to wound me?

If I were to grab his knees and hold on, could my family get away
while he was stabbing me?

Should I call 9-1-1?

Why is this street so deserted? We need to raise taxes, have a paint
and weed day and make this a happier, healthier street that would
discourage such behavior.

This is all so confusing!

I need to debate this with some friends for a few days and try to come
to a consensus.

I guess I must be a Southern Conservative, because I was thinking about how to explain to my son how something as small as a bullet can blow the big man's head wide open ...

I'm a liberal to my heart ,but that dude would be singing "The Upper Room" because the clip would be empty!!

And then after the shooting liberals would come up with every reason to punish ME! Then they would dramatize the plight of the dope who was about to attack me and my family and want to get in touch with why he was attacking me and my family so that no one would ever have to get that mad only to be blown away again. Then they would call for a ban on all .357 sigs because they are too lethal when you could just run or use pepper spray to temporarily stunned the vagrant so that you could get your family into a car, lock the doors and huddle shaking like scared rabbits until the police come and hand the situation in a professional more humane manner!!! :rolleyes: :mad:
 
Is this a "tongue in cheek" post? Because if it isn't, then I think yall are over simplifying things, but if it is, then, never mind. Carry on.
 
Self preservation overrules party affiliation and political thinking. The question would better if posed regarding what liberals, conservatives and southern conservatives would do AFTER you've blown ole boy away.

They would have also had his mother on t.v. talking about how good hearted a person he was too, despite the foot long rap sheet he had and the 4 warrants he had as well.

Well, I shot the robber, then laughed and shot a conservative standing by an SUV that was idling on empty, then got mad and shot a Democrat who was talking to this woman about waiting to see what Bush does first, and then I shot this libertarian who was trying to pave over a bump in the road. I then proceeded to tell my son that we can ask questions later because we don't have to rationalize with dead people. Oh, and for clarification, I emptied my second gun on the conservative. It was .380 long barrel with laser sight and a pearl grip with a naked chic on tha side.

You do know why barrels are longer on various cartridges don't you?? I'll give you time enought to do a google search and find out.

Your analogy is therefore dismissed due to insufficient knowledge of the subject matter....I only own 12 guns....so I kinda know what I'm talking about.

If you are going to try and add to the discussion...at least come with a story that is somewhat believable.

Buy a gun first...then add to the story......

Seriously, I own one handgun....an old .45 semi I took from my late grandmother's house. I'll use it if I have to. You can own 12 guns, heyall, you can own 30, makes me none and neither does the liberal vs. conservative thing. I was just humoring you cuz the joke really isn't accurate at all anyway. Shows what you know about political theory.

Subject: Super Granny

---SUPER GRANNY---DEFENDER OF JUSTICE (True story reported on the news in the USA Today.)

An elderly Florida lady did her shopping, and upon returning to her car, she found four males in the act of leaving with her vehicle. She dropped her shopping bags and drew her handgun, and then proceeded to scream at the top of her voice "I have a gun, and I know how to use it! "Get out of the car!"

The four men didn't wait for a second invitation. They got out and ran like mad. The lady, somewhat shaken, then proceeded to load her shopping bags into the back of the car and got into the driver's seat.

She was so shaken that she could not get her key into the ignition. She tried and tried, and then....it dawned on her why.

A few minutes later she found her own car parked four or five spaces farther down. She loaded her bags into the car and then drove to the police station.

The sergeant to whom she told the story doubled over on the floor with laughter. He pointed to the other end of the counter, where four pale men were reporting car jacking by a mad, wild elderly woman described as white, less than five feet tall, glasses, curly white hair, and carrying a large handgun.

No charges were filed. ....

Ah!....Those senior moments...
