Letters to the "good people" of the world

Dear middle aged female Walgreens shopper,

I understand in these hard economic times everyone wants to save a buck. HOWEVER, don't wait until you get to the cashier before thumbing through your store catalog to find coupons for ALL of the nine items in your shopping cart.

It would be one thing if there were not multiple people behind you who had better things to do than watch you slowly lick your fingers, adjust your Harry Caray glasses, then examine each page closely before locating the coupon which enables you to save 75 cents on body lotion.

But we don't have such a luxury at 11 p.m. Time, and my frozen snacks, waits for no man, lady. And that includes you, too.

If the families on TLC's Extreme Couponing have the decency to cut out, gather and organize their 1,000 coupons to save EVERYONE time before buying $500 worth of food at local grocery store, then Mrs. Inconsiderate should do the same.

Regards,

Kendrick

Ken...I feel ya pain!!

I absolutely hate those kind of shoppers...it's not the middle-aged women but the OLD senior citizens that always end of up in front of me. Oh and when they get to the cashier and be like, "baby is there a coupon in the newspaper for this". So she wants the cashier to get the newspaper and search through it...

I've left many of shit on the counter/candy racks b/c I lose my patience and can't stand in line behind the slow folks. At least they could go during the day while most people are at work...why come after work in the evening or late at night!?!

Could you include the dummies who don't know how to use the self checkout lanes. There is always some dummies who haven't figured out how to use the machine yet. :shame:

I don't use the self-checkout lanes most of the time. I'm no dummy. I just want somebody to do it for me.

Not to mention, the ones who get in the self checkout lanes with wayyyyy more items than the posted "limit" and then don't know how to scan 'em :smh:

btw, when I go through the lines with the cashier, it seems I always get behind that lil ole lady who will wait til all her stuff is scanned and then start digging for some money. Even worse, when she keeps on digging for the exact change. Down to the penny.:mad:

Not long ago, I saw a lady writing a check in Kroger. :retard:

Dear Ken,

I wasn't the shopper in the store but I know plenty of women who are them and we all want to tell you and the rest of your cronies who act like they couldn't make it to the store earlier: STFU and sending you out two middle fangas 10 inches long each :teleport: We go late because some of us WANT to move slower, and then by rights we SHOULD have the time to browse, touch and select without the hassle of folks rushing us or sighing over our shoulder [which we ignore, as you saw personally]. Didn't you see the glasses? We need TIME to read and see what we want to use. And Ken, we don't give a damn about those organized Extreme Couponing folks...cause we are extremely living OUR lives, OUR way [again, you didn't pick up on the total igging while you sighed and your kiddie treats melted in your hands, not your mouth?].

So, when you see one of us in line, either go to another line [oh, that's right. this is the only one open since the young folks are hiding out in the stock room, dodging work again] or do the suggested STFUing, open your bag of chips and munch before you buy, or spend your time riding around looking for a store without middle aged folks going to them. And where is that at? :xeye:

Love ya,

CT

Man. It would be one simple ass item in their possession and it take them 10 minutes to checkout.

Who is still choosing between paper and plastic? I haven't seen paper bags in stores for years.

:smh:

Nah. Most environmentally conscious people are using those cloth bags that they own.

That's what made it worse, CT. It was only one line open. The cashier from the camera department (thank God for her) opened up her line so folks can pay for their condoms, half-gallon of ice cream and in my case, frozen chicken wings, while Driving Mrs. Daisy got herself together.

Thank you CT.:)

I turned 40 back in December and I've been using coupons since I became a mother in 1993. While I have them sorted out when I make out my grocery list, I do have a lot and I DGAS who's upset when I hand them to the cashier.....sometimes they get an attitude too, but again, I DGAS! If it means me saving my money, the people behind me can kick rocks.

I like you Kendrick, I like you alot, but I suggest you take CT's advice and either go to another line or go find another store........btw, good luck with that.

So, in other words, you mad at Driving Miss Daisy because the store had only one lane open? Seems like you should be upset with the store; that's their dumbarse fault for that.

The store should do like the bank...

Don't step up to the "window" unless you have all your shyt together/filled out. :emlaugh:

Just like at the bank...when folks step up and still have to fill out their slips the teller kindly ask them to move to the side until they get it together.

I wouldn't be upset if folks had a lot of coupons in their hands already and just gave them to cashier one at time. But do you have to look through the cotton picking book to find them? You couldn't do that before you got to the front of line or I don't know, while you were shopping? LOL

Why is he buying chicken wings at Walgreens? That's what you should have been mad about, Kendrick. The folks who were buying condoms and ice cream had a legitimate complaint. Folks who buy chicken wings at Walgreens ... not so much.

Another thing to you slow drivers out here, If you're on the highway/Interstate and driving 50 mph in the left lane slowing up traffic I will blow my horn at you and/or give you a mean look once I go around you. I've come to the conclusion that some people don't know the rules of driving in the fast lane versus the slow lane.
