True! What NCAT is doing today, SWAC bands were doing in the 70's, 80's & 90's. Miss. Valley had the flag girls that changed at halftime on the field surrounded by band members into a Dance team, now NCAT has Golden Delight. Prairie View's percussion section was featured at halftime, now NCAT is featuring their percussion section. What NCAT is doing today is ideas taken from SWAC bands.
