This is further evidence of a "has been" program. In the hey day of JSU football, there was only one JSU and that was JACKSON STATE UNIVERSITY THE HOME OF THE TIGERS. Now you are referring to JSU as Jacksonville State. I know that you can give the SWAC more that you are providing.

Jackson State University is at an all time LOW!

In my honest opinion, JSU will always be Jackson State University. Keep your head up, things will get better.

I can't remember the last time S.U. lost a Homecoming. What I do remember is a cliche' t hat states "the sun shines on a dog's posterior every now and then." :lol: :emlaugh: How many homecomings did AAMU lose before S.U. went down there year before last and hood ganked you pot hounds in front of your hapless alums. Ooops,........never mind ( I remember "dear old" Morris Brown last football and band going to Normal.............well you know the rest of the story {thanks Paul Harvey!} :lol: :emlaugh: ) Didn't Texas Southern lose to them the same year? Maybe we should call the TXSU/AAMU football game Morris Brown Classic! :lol: :emlaugh: I think your two schools should pay homage to them. :lol: :emlaugh:

I am talking about the same team that you said, "we can win 7 games on talent alone". Now that was the JSU that made the people on Lynch Street proud. I was at the Soul Bowl and heard all of the positive talk about the history of JSU football and the direction that the JSU faithful wanted for the football team. Man those people were in the dumps!

GR, this is your last shot at bringing the once proud JSU back to glory. If "Fats" falters on his desire to bring championships to Lynch Street, JSU will be set back for the next 10 years. I repeat again, JSU is at an all time low!
