Lecrae loosens ties with white evangelism... the response from John Piper

The guy who responded...got it a little but still didn't UNDERSTAND....prayers up to him to open his mind and for him to move further down the road to understanding...

Thanks for sharing. But the bottom line is John Piper is delusional, a hypocrite, and reeks of white privilege.

1) John Piper failed to acknowledge that the overwhelming majority of white evangelicals support everything he said he doesn't ... that's the problem! There's very little diversity in thought among your traditional white evangelicals ... look up the word "groupthink".
2) "White Evangelism" is a thing and one of the pillars of it has been to oppress anyone who doesn't look or think like them. Most white evangelists agreed with Jim Crow Laws (segregation) and those racists sentiments still exist amongst them. The KKK, the most terrifying racist organization in the US, was founded on "christian principles" and by white evangelists.
3) The biggest allies of black people have never been white evangelicals but it has always been white jews and atheists.
4) Both John Piper and LeCrae are members of the Harlot System (Whore of Babylon) but that's another topic.

I'm still trying to determine how i feel about it. I attend a mostly white church. Ultimately I don't care about the race of the people i worship beside and with but I'm woke and understand that the feeling may not always be mutual. I do find that sometimes they can't even imagine that other people might feel differently...legitimately feel different. it takes some dialog and real conversation.

A wise black person know that he or she WILL NEVER have the luxury not to care about race ... ESPECIALLY in the deep south and in the heart of dixie on top of that. I hope one day you come to the conclusion I feel you should.

And white evangelicals are the kings and queens of nice nasty and are WILLFULLY IGNORANT from my experience.

What I try to do daily is let Christ live in and through me. As I grow in knowledge, understanding, wisdom, and faith how that comes out may change. I am not the master of that change though... he is. Sometimes you sow...sometimes you reap.

Don't underestimate the God giving gift of common sense. Historically and presently white evangelicals have actively participated in the oppression, terrorization, and exploitation of black people ... I can't ignore the facts. For example, they overwhelmingly don't believe poor people (disproportionately minorities) should have access to affordable and quality healthcare ... what's God like about denying poor people something important like that. I just don't trust them, the cons outweigh the pros about them. But good luck sir (last response on the matter)

People are afraid of their fellow man.

What I mean by that is people are nervous about rustling the feathers per se of those closest to them who don't think like them for fear that when they are in need they will be without help. That's not just racism but across the board.

In my opinion many black people are searching for acceptance from the white culture than just living in their own cultural belief.

True...but right now, I'm tired of educating these slow ass learners to LIFE.

This is a hard row to hoe. Many black people don't allow blacks to live in their culture. They will start some: "WE don't know nothing about that stuff so how can it be your culture?" "All folks wearing natural hair shouldn't." Divide and conquer is bred into our psyche's....when we see the black people doing something different, aka cultural, they got to get them back in line....
