Pop came down from the front office to coach though. So every player knew Pop had clout even though he wasn't a head coach in the NBA before. Plus San Antonio front office don't play with malcontents.

So, when the Heat won four straight in the NBA playoffs there wasn't talk of trust issues with the coach. Now they lose two straight Wade and James don't trust Coach Spo? Interesting.
To me, these last two losses are on D-Wade. He needs to show up for the first half of these games. If LeBron hadn't been scoring 20 points in the last two first halves, the Heat don't even have the opportunity to stay close with Boston.

Don't blame me. That has been to comments from Magic, Jon Barry, Bruce Bowen etc. on the play calling. Even before last night's game. Just saying man. I am not an X's and O's basketball guru. I just play one on the internet. LOL.
Seriously, I am not protecting him. I see his faults. But I do think he gets more blame than he should. He deserves about 60 -70 percent of the blame for the perception of him. The other 30 is overblown. Also once he got Cleveland to the Finals so fast and upset the Pistons on the way there. People automatically thought he would win a title sooner than later. I don't think anyone thought he would win against San Antonio, but folks expectations rose and as he had his own issues in Cleveland with Mike Brown and then the decision hoopla that turned folks against him. He has just not been able to recover. The media built this kid up from middle school on up and he hasn't won a title fast enough in folks mind and then all the 4th quarter scrutiny he gets is not all his fault.
Dude just don't have a kill streak in him and I don't know if he ever will. He will be the next David Robinson. Folks said he was too soft. Good dude but needed killers like Duncan and floor leader like Avery Johnson plus getting Pop as a coach to get the beast to come out. Some guys just need that type of coach. Lebron is one of them. Now at this stage he may not like it. But he needs someone in his face and saying kill them mofos on the court or else. LOL.

Kendrick, even during the win streak, you can still look at them and tell they aint really buying what Spoelstra is saying. The won because Indy made them mad enough to go off on them. Plus Indy just didn't have enough talent to win. Miami out talented them and all that noise talking Indy was doing was funny to me. Aint none of them cats tough guys. The Heat didn't respect them dudes. As for the first 2 games they won against the Celtics. Only game one was a definitive win for the Heat were they outplayed a weary Celtics team. Game 2, the Heat got outplayed and stole that home win back or else they could be down 3-1.
The Miami Heat have struggled on both ends of the floor because they're undersized in the front court. That is how they got down 2-1 to the Pacers, and that is why they are tied with Boston at 2-2 (combined with the hot and cold performances of Wade).
The Heat beat the Pacers for two reasons:
1. Indiana played dumb basketball by going away from their strengths which was pounding that ball inside to Hibbert and West on the block. Instead, they settled for threes for some reason.
2. LeBron and Wade played out of their minds in the last three games to win that series.
Against Boston, the Heat are being hammered in the paint again. That's why LeBron is checking KG now. Coach Spo doesn't trust any of his bigs right now on either end of the floor. That's why he's been shuffling between Anthony and Turiaf at center. It is why Bosh's injury was so big for the Heat as Boston is just feeding KG inside. Bosh stabilizes the team. If LeBron or Wade aren't having big games, the Heat will have a tough time winning.
And we've seen that the last two games. It is why I said these last two losses are on Wade more than anyone else. It's not that he does trust the coach. It's that for whatever reason he can't get going early in games.

I was watching sports center today and caught BruceBowens explanation for what happened. I know his non talking dis dat dese and dose spewing ass is just happy to have a job but he really needs to be fired.
He said TheHeat didn't execute because they are young and they haven't played together long enough. I was like WHAT DID HE JUST SAY? Even HannaStorm said hold up. These guys gave been playing together for 2 years and they've been in the league fir at least 8 years. He had no response to that and responded by putting his foot on the table.
Like I told you, you have to start thinking for yourself. Those guys are put there to protect the league. If they were real analyst they would complain relentlessly about this garbage ass officiating. They did their best to bring SanAntonio back tonight.

Pop is a great coach. Didn't say he was the best of all time. Ain't his fault his team is not able to beat the Thunder, who I predicted to be in the Finals from the West when the season started. I was rooting for them to get out the West last season. Not shocked the Spurs are down 3-2. The Thunder are just a better team and will rule the West for a while unless somebody gets hurt. I expect them to win the title against Miami or Boston.
As for the talking heads, yeah they do whatever it takes to stay on TV. But again, I don't think Spoelstra is right coach in Miami. So even though the talking heads are saying he is not drawing up good plays has not influenced me on thinking he just aint the coach they need.
I agree that the officials have been horrible. They did screw over the Thunder tonight and that Miami/Boston game the night before was horrible as well. Seems like the refs are getting worse each series.
Nobody brought up the fact that he missed a FT late in the game. He makes that FT and No foul out for LBJ, no OT and Miami is up 3-1 going back to South Beach. As long as he is scoring 30 its cool though I guess.
The FT shooting is a legit criticism. LeBron has to be better. However, Miami doesn't get to OT if he doesn't make a three with 37 seconds left in regulation.
But all this stuff about he needs to have a disciplinarian as head coach, or has to do more is nonsense, considering he averaging 33 and 10 against Boston and 30 and 9 in the entire playoffs while guarding the opposing teams best perimeter and sometimes post players. What more do you people want LeBron to do? He's being asked to guard a 7-footer late in the game.
Does that fit the description of a guy who needs a coach to get in his face to make him play better? :lol: Some of this is just plan idiotic coming out of folks mouths and keyboards.

Dude, if Pat Riley was the coach of the Heat, Lebron would have to play even HARDER. Don't know why you can't see that. Just because he is scoring doesn't mean he doesn't need to be coached. Those dudes are just doing what they want. Hell they said it. You can post the stats all you want. I am a Lebron fan, but he needs someone in his face since he don't have it in him to kill the enemy on the court. MJ had it. Kobe has it and I don't even like the dude, Durant is doing and even though Westbrook can dribble too much at times, he has that mentality. You can see that swagger. Lebron don't have the kill swagger. Last year he wanted to be the bad guy. This year he wants to be the good guy again. He needs to get mean. Every night I am seeing Durant get meaner and tougher in the playoffs. He is coming hard. I need to see that in Lebron. Lebron has too much talent to be nice on the court. He can still be a team player. Look at Rondo. Dude has attitude. He still gets his teamates the ball. But Rondo has the kill mentality. If Rondo had Lebron's size and talent to go with his moxy, he would tear the league to shreds. Just saying Kendrick.
Let's not compare Rondo or Durant, both great players, to LeBron. Those cats don't have the same responsibility LeBron has. They just don't. Neither Rondo or Durant are asked to score 30, get 9 to 10 rebounds, run the offense and guard multiple positions every night -- sometimes when the offense player either outweighs or is taller than them like LeBron does.
In Game 2, (The game where Wade scored 2 points in the first half). In the 4th quarter on three straight Boston possessions took Rondo one time, Pierce the second time down the floor and KG the third trip. But you want LeBron to play harder although he finished the game with 34, 10 and 7?

You talk about Russell Westbrook having the mentality LeBron lacks. Well, Scott Brooks took him off Parker because he was getting his butt torched. If LeBron played for the Thunder, he would probably have been asked to guard Parker and then Manu or whoever else was an offense threat on the Spurs. That's the difference between LBJ and the rest of those cats.
And people are only looking at this thing through an offensive perspective not understanding that LeBron has to do so much for the Heat to win. He's had to do even more since Bosh has been out and when Wade decides game-time doesn't start until 10:30 P.M. Eastern. He barely comes out of these playoff games because Coach Spo knows the Heat can't function without him on the floor. So demanding that he needs to play harder is a silly statement to make.
And stop bringing up Pat Riley, please. Heck, his last few years in Miami was a disaster. Swept out of the playoffs by Chicago, and then was a lottery team the next year. And his players over the years hated all those long practices and worn out tactics. You know, like your boys Wade and Zo and Shaq. Him a Zo would get into it all the time to the point where members of the team though he would hurt Pat. LOL.

If I was a Martian and I just started watching basketball tonight I would swear that Chalmers and wade were the players on that team. LeBron punk ass took his customary position hiding in the corner hoping the ball didn't find him. But LeBron is the MVP. But LeBron is the greatest in the league. Oh well.
