National GOP leaders are doing damage control today after a Politico scoop lifted the curtain on the party's plan to tap voters' "fear" in the coming campaign season. The PR problem started when an absent-minded attendee at the Republican National Committee (RNC) confab on February 18 in Boca Grande, Florida, left a 72-page document from its 2010 strategizing session in a hotel room. Today, Politico reporter Ben Smith's expose is making headlines.

You know what? I have been hearing from CNN that the republicans have been trying to intimedate people over the years and they use it to try to swing votes (I tell you know lie when I say this). So I guess it is safe to say that the republicans are trying to use a monopoly of intemidation to gain the house and senate. The funny thing about this is "it is now in writing"!

This is the normal ploy of late with the rep party.

Bush used the fear of gays destroying America to the black religious population in Ohio to win his second term.

This ploy works very well and will continue, the dems are not politically bright enough to deploy this method.

they have always used this type of stuff and they often have media outlet personalities to help hammer it home
