Hey Jax win it or not the dude was clueless. Focus on what you suppose to know(defense) and hire someone who knows how to run offense. It's aint that hard..
We aint no older than your beloved Celtics either. Bottom line Mike Brown was in over his head.

How are you gonna fire a coach after 5 games?That's bogus!! This is why I hate them dayum flakers! He was the coach and the players never followed his style and that sad-assed front office put together, how can you only give the man 5 games? I wish nothing but DOOM for those westcoast Pillow-Biters! Get you a good lawyer and sue they ass Mike!!! I bet that batch azz hobe was behind it too!

Sorry Laker Hater but that cat lost 12 games in the preseason , his last two playoff games and 4 out of 5 this season. Thats1-18 in his last 19 games. That's his own fault...

For the five for 2012 and the twenty-five from last season. I blame Kupchak and Dr. Buss' son, he was suppose to be "friends" with Brown. They should have hire Shaw or Sloan to replace Phil.

Karl Malone and John Stockton never won a title running pick and rolls, that doesn't mean the offense was bad. Those Kings teams had different pieces, and that offense worked for them. It didn't hurt that they also had the architect of the offense on their coaching staff. The Princeton offense was just a horrible fit for this Lakers' squad, but I still believe their defense is far more worrisome than their offense.

Yes, he's a good defensive coach, but the Lakers as constructed aren't built to be great defensively. I know all the extra time they spent working on the Princeton offense didn't help, but even last year the Lakers were only about league average defensively. Once you get past Howard, who's still not 100%, it's not a team full of good defenders. Nash and Blake were horrible defenders even when they were younger, Kobe and World Peace are no longer elite defender, and Antawn Jamison hasn't played defense in a decade, and Gasol has never been above average defensively. It's interesting that you mention Pop. One of the smart things he did as his stars got older was to change his offensive philosophy, instituting a more free-flowing, up-and-down style that made them less dependent on their defense to win games.
 
Perhaps old boy can get the head coaching job at Princeton. :lol: :emlaugh:

Everybody knew Brown was over his head. My question to you is........what do the Celtics have to do with Mike Brown getting fired? Just askin....
