Knee deep kickin' off in SU's ass this fall

Why are my fellow JAGS still entertaining this bullisht?????

why are you responding to this? This is about sports, not Juwanna's babby daddy.

I am laughing looking at you all trying to say you all did not struggle to win. We had nothing to lose. Don't worry about us this year, by the time Oct. 26 rolls around you'll be well out of the SWAC race and wondering when baseball starts.

I think the near miss in BR last year really shook the Jags. Jag Fans are really concerned about this game and it shows.

Uhhh Jags......

Don't you know smacking Prarie View is like fighting the retarded kid that just spat on you? If you knock the Hell out of him people say "Man, he's retarded why you hit him?" But if you do nothing then people say "Why you let him spit on you?"

So you're Dayummed if you do, and Dayummmed if you don't.....

At any rate, I think that PV will win only if they score more points than Southern does.:D :D :D

Love that analogy about fighting back a retarded kid. It certainly applies to Blu Panther.

Su Jag 79, rraaaaa, exactly how, praytell, do y'all plan to whip us this fall? What'chall working w/ man? Besides Victor Ike, what'chall got for that passing game?

Seriously bruh, Richard didn't show too much in the passing dept. Is SU going to be 60+ percent run vs the pass? Holla'.

Actually, to be serious, it will probably be 55/45 for the run. Seriously, you may not want to acknowledge him, but Richard can only get better. This offense is built whereas the QB does not have to do too much. Quick passes underneath and a potent running game should defeat PV this year, seriously. BTW, Ike is a running back dog. You already know about Hayes, Joubert and Plain in the WR corps. Bridges, Ard, Joseph, and Nelson (TE) will be great in the four and five receiver sets.

Kid 79, I was not there to see Bobby Perry defend a spread offense, watch Ricks get *icked or watch your defense switch aligments, etc. I was there to watch the game as a fan, not an anylyst. I don't care if we played man or zone coverage because who in the hell would understand me if I used all that fancy talk? I don't see anyone high fiving you because you deciphered our defense.

NW always finds ways to beat SU. I don't care if Ghandi is playing QB they'll win. Ain't like you return a superstar lineup anyway. A inaccurate QB, a broke down receiver, an unproven coordinator, need I go on? Playing d-2 Delta State can only give them confidence. Don't you all play Tulane in week 1? That can set the tone right there. A negative tone.

Richard had numerous drives start in our territory because of those pooch punts. If you all feel good about someone winning a shootout against a 3rd place team with 15 scholarships, so be it. If Quincy was go great, he could have taken you all to the promised land a week later against GSU.

I don't decipher defenses man, but I watch key players. And when I see Lewis streaking past Perry, with all you say he was supposed to be, yes, it was surprising. Plus, I wouldn't care about anyone high fiving ( is this a word media man?) me.

Out of nine games, NW State has found a way to beat SU FOUR times. How is that always? You mentioned three people to signify that we don't have a superstar lineup. When has Southern had a superstar lineup BP? Staring to see why footinmouthitis is running in your family.

Playing D2 Delta State can only give them confidence if they demolish them. Otherwise, it doesn't help NW State in any way. Tulane, on the other hand, can give Southern confidence if we win or play close. Anything that would improve on last year would do the trick against NW State the next week.

A field position ploy? You are kidding. If your offense isn't worth shat, I don't care if you get the ball at the 10 everytime, you still might not get in so that point has no merit. The fact is your defense and special teams set it up and could not stop us. And, no one is bragging on beating you. No one really cares, except for you, which is causing us to remember. We only thought about it recently because of people like Panthro and you.

And don't play the poor little kids here either. I don't care about your scholarship alottment. That's PV's fault, no one elses. You wanted to compete, we are gonna take you like anybody else and celebrate a win over you like over anybody else. And, don't even think of comparing yourselves to Grambling. Richard put the fright back into them in the second half, but the difference was that they were able to withstand the onslaught whereas Punk View was NOT.

Makaho,

Sometimes, you gotta get your point across to the retarded ones too. They could blow your ass off as fast as any other! Take no liberties with any of these crazy futhermuckers!

Gag 79, Again, I was not watching Bobby Perry or Devin Lewis like you were. Makes me wonder what you were really looking at.
You really liked Lewis' running motion?

do not put stock in Vic Ike because he from the white school. I know a teammate of his who said he is a weird person. You had Elvis Joseph and did nothing with him.

When has Southern had a superstar lineup BP

93
Eric Randall
Sean Wallace
Some receiver who got drafted that year

95
Melvin Williams
Eric Randall
those receivers
Chris Williams

late 90s
Steve Wofford
Antonio Mayes
Lawrence Hart
Gillis Wilson

D-town Jag, what does the "d" really stand for? Your lack of SWAC knowledge gives us a true clue of what it means

SU, worry about UAPB. it is an even year and remember what happened in 2000,

Of course, going back to their TAMU background, When you can't beat him on facts, question his manhood. Man, that is old and tired. The fact is your all-world safety got caught numerous times by Lewis, but you don't want to say you saw it nor do you want to remember it happened.

I don't care where Ike is from. He seems to be another athlete that SU can use in some situation and that's why I mention him.

If you seriously think these guys are superstars, you are crazy.

Randall could not be a superstar man. At that time, he was being pushed over in the league for a future NFL'er. Maybe you've heard of him: Steve McNair.
Sean Wallace, huh? Good, but not a superstar.
Melvin Williams .... no man. C'mon, you gotta do better than this. He was beat out by Wofford man!
A lineman (Williams)? He was good, but again, no superstar.
I give you Wofford, but Mays, Hart and Wilson were not superstas man. Mays and Wilson could hardly stay in the game because of the system we were running and Hart was a product of Richardson's system. He is still trying to find his niche in the NFL.

All of these guys were leaders, yes, and helped Southern teams win, but in no way were they SUPERSTARS like Hayes, Wofford, Kent, Kennedy, or Perry.

That's just STUPID man!

I can tell your from BR because your comments show you've been inhaling those fumes from the Mississippi gas plants.

When I say superstar, I'm not talking about NFL caliber, I am talking about superstar status in the SWAC. Duh

You were a baby in HS but Melvin Williams set a SU rushing record when he was a freshman. When he got ineligible in 96 and hurt his ACL in 97 that was it. He was more powerful than Wofford but Wofford stayed around for 4 years unlike him. PLus even if Wofford beat him out it was expected because Wofford was a d-1 athlete who ended up in BR.

Sean Wallace? You must have been in art class in MS because folks will tell you he was the difference on that SU defense. The guy could hit. He went to play in the NFL.

Hart would have been a monster in another system but he got an NFL shot. Mays must have been doing something because he is still in the NFL.

Even Matt Bushart was one of the team's better players.

enough history lesssons about your school

You are smart kid ..... uhh .... NO! Fool, I know we were talking about the damn NFL.

Williams did set the record, but Wofford took him. He (Williams) did mess up his knee, but could never get his way back and Wofford took over. However, I can give you Williams. I forgot about his record.

Wallace .... okay, I can give you that one too. Believe me, I remember him vividly. I still think there were better players on his defense though.

The rest of them are not even close though. We were talking about Superstars. Even though they made it to the NFL, SWAC superstars they were not!
