And they can't argue that some DII PWI's are better funded than most FCS HBCU's. This was a DII HBCU.

I need to leave this because this pisses me even more. Shit. This is NOT the Jackson State Univ I grew up w/ and neither is the Grambling State Univ I saw last Saturday.
 
It is a new day in Black college football. A once proud program that was almost unbeatable in the 80's is struggling. This is not a knock on JSU; however, it is factual. The student athlete who once attended our Universities are currently at PWI's. There is no remedy to bring this athlete back to our schools. Well, Kentucky State, Morehouse, and Tuskegee are doing something different and are competitive with the SWAC. Therefore, my theory is we need to continue to recruit players who are coachable on the field and classroom and continue to hire coaches who can take a no star and make him a 3 star or take a 2 star and make him a 4 star with the proper training etc..

What are the Samford's and McNeese State's doing to be able to beat us with less talent?

Better coaching & preparedness w/ disciplined play.
 
Ya'll still talking about this lol. It's over now. Like i stated before until the SWAC can go back to hiring quality coaches then stuff like this will happen. We had two whole weeks and looked like complete absolutely shit. That's everybody at JSU fault. We didn't even make halftime adjustments so if i was KSU i would have did the same shit.

I was thinking the same. These folks just wanna drag it on simply because it’s JSU so I’m not surprised. We already stated we played like ass earlier in the thread and embarrassed ourselves. Nothing more to say. Gram is now on the clock.

No one is dragging it because it is JSU. Could it because your classmates/alumni who you know well pounce on any negative that a SWAC school may be involved? Good Luck against Grambling...

folks say dumb negative stuff on here all the time from other schools not named JSU and those schools never get the same treatment so miss me with that bs. Lol it’s ok to admit you hate us and move on. It’s been proven time and time again. Goodluck to you as well.

Jay, in a weird kind of way, I'm more pissed about JSU/GSU/SU losing when I think and know they should be winning. I just viewed the game and the oline/dline play of JSU is HORRIBLE and NOT at the caliber we are accustomed to seeing. smh I'm not smacking. I'm expressing supreme disappointment. If a non-alum is pissed, I can only imagine how you alums feel.

I know you aren’t smacking, you’re telling the truth. It was moreso for these other folks. You have no idea how pissed we were but we’re on to a new week and there better be improvements and adjustments going forward. I’m just glad SWAC play for us isn’t until next week
