Just in case you dozed off before the game ended last night....

MH,

Kobe is good and I've seen a few great players in my day. Kobe at 23 is right up there. I think the wanna be like Mike is the basis for your hate. You're acting like the game didn't begin until Jordan came along.

I tell you what MH. I will run away for some hours if you do me some favors.

First, answer these questions. So, is the weight room going or staying? Will you all have a head coach after this year? What will be the next thing that your board of dictators.......errr I mean directors take from the athletic department? Is Miles and Lane truly planning to upset you all this fall?

And second, go and tell your little brother (Mr. Suav`ee) to stop harrassing the women on Small Talk. None of the girls want to email him their pictures. LOL.

Deal?

Yeah, I don't like imposters and wannabees!!!!!!!
Like I said, kobe is a decent player (sometimes). Nothing he has done comes close to being special or out of the ordinary.

You're acting like the game didn't begin until Jordan came along.
But he took it to a whole 'nother level. I know you agree!!!
:D

I'm not sure what you mean by taking it to another level. If you're talking about doing things on the court that I had not seen before, I will agree. But I can say that about quite a few other players. Wilt, Bill, Magic, Bird, Kareem, Jerry, Earl, Dr. J, Shaq, Oscar, and I'm going to add Kobe to that list.

MH, I think you should put together with some sponsors to see if you can get a benefit game going. The ole bull-heads (Jordan, Pippen, Cartwright, Paxon, Armstrong, Rodmen, etc...) against today's young stars. The proceeds can go to your favorite charity. You know, like buying another weight room or moving a certain HBCU into D-1A status.

mh

Did you fall asleep last night before or after Kobe hit the first 3 to beging the comeback. Did you fall asleep after Kobe hit the second 3 to start the Hurs to shaking in their boots. Or were you awake when Kobe made the greatest play in playoff history to leap damn near out of the gym to reach for that rebound, bring it down and then go up over two footers. When did you go to sleep bruh, Huh?

Talk that mess you were talking....NOW.
Say what you said earlier..............NOW.
Bad mouth Kobe............................NOW.
All you can do is hate....................NOW

Kobe is true greatness and you know it.

maybe we were watching different games. All I saw was kobe dribble the ball off his foot and then rebound a miss and make a simple put back. What's so earth shattering about that??????

Please stop that greatest play in playoff history crap. Maybe I could see if it came in a clutch game in the finals, on the last shot (like Mr. Jordan). I can even see if it came in the deciding game in the conference finals. But this play came in the damn 2nd round, in game 4, and it's supposed to qualify as the greatest play ever. :(
Man, why don't you stop playing around. A new person may log on and think you seriously believe that was the greatest ever in the history of the playoffs.

I know you wont admit it. Who cares if he bounced the ball off of his leg...They better be glad he did, cause you know he was about to dunk on Dunkin and Robinson.

That was one of the greatest plays in playoff history. And you know it. It was much more athlectic than that Jordan crap with him unecessarily switching hands in the finals in 91.

This kid went damn near to the banners to pull that ball down. The ball came down with ice on it. It almost hit a bomber plane it was so far up. That damn ball almost knocked a satellite out of space. But Kobe....Kobe Bryant went got it. And when he came down....he didnt see Dunkin on the left and Robinson on the right....all he saw was the bottom of the net and another playoff victory as he marches closer to his Finals MVP...which is what he should have gotten last year.

And remember how you asked last year....Could Kobe win a championship without Shaq? I think we all see that the answer is yes. Shaq is a shell of himself. Hell he couldnt even slam on Ferry yesterday. But not to worry, Kobe got his back. Kobe could win a title with Todd McCoulough or Shawn Bradley as center.

And did you see how Lynsey Hunter gave him a chest bump when he got to the sideline. If Lynsey hadnt given him that chest bump, there is no way he would have been able to win that game. See MH?.you are so stuck on Jordan, you cant see what is really important.

There you go again.
Overexaggerating a simple play.
Dude, watch the replay again. Kobe didnt jump over Duncan for that rebound. Shaq had him blocked out. He was barely even in the picture. I'm not even sure if robinson was in the game. (if he was, he shouldn't have been)

As far as last year, you know shaq was the unanimous mvp without a doubt.

It's idle talk to say what center kobe could win a title with. But it's the truth to say that Mr. Jordan won titles (6 of them to be exact, all 6 times he was the MVP) with the likes of these all-time "greats"---Bill Cartwright, Luc Longely, Scott Williams, and Will Perdue.

If you get this happy bout kobe being the mvp in the conference semis, its scary to think how you'll react if kobe ever is the mvp in the finals.

You forgot David Stern and the referees. Those were the best players on his team.

GR,
It's unamerican for you to hate the greatest ever.

MJ: "So Kobe, will you at least pass me the ball? You know I suppose to be the greatest on the court tonight."

Kobe: "Well MJ. I tell you what. I'll think about it."

He's got a good point!!!!!!!
Both Pippen and kobe play 2nd fiddle to the real star on their team.

MH,

I used think it was just hate on Kobe, but now it's more like you don't.....KNOW A DAMN THING ABOUT BASKETBALL! Go ahead and tell the truth. You can't bare to watch the playoff because it's the Kobe show. You and STC have not watched a playoff game. Yall been watching SPACE JAM. Kobe pass Pippen level his rookie season.
