Gottttttttttttttt dangit Bama St!!!!!! LOL!!!!! Y'all are setting the signing day on fi!!!! :D

Congrats.
And... To me, we only got ONE of the big ones that I was hoping for. I was bubbling last night in hopes that we got everyone that I saw as committed. But, hey, kids change their minds on day of I guess. FAMU got two kids that I thought were beasts. a 6'6' WR and a 2 star LB that committed to us. They both flipped today

LOL. Not now it isn't.

Players coming in with an Associate Degree and enrolled in Jan have 2 semesters to gain the required NCAA 48 transferable hours. I don't see a problem with recruiting JUCO. Look at Ole Miss and Ms St. Rosters.

UAB has the NCAA rules working for them.....you don't need a 2.5 GPA to be eligible there due to some NCAA loophole that was enacted due to the closure of the program....they have a 1 year reprieve

The team making noise today is UAB! They are tearing it up with JUCO transfers.
UAB has been killing it ALL day. I have wondered how they are able to sell a recruit knowing that everyone will have to sit out next year? Most kids want to play ASAP. But, a great education and a one year scholly without playing may be attractive too

I think the battle will be between Bama State and PV. Maybe Alcorn has everything they need. I'm not seeing any action from them during this period. Same for Jackson, but that's expected with new coach hire. I'll wait and see what A&M does, but they have lot of work to do.

We got a Top recruiting coordinator as our coach. We will be fine in that area. Good pickup with the QB

Bama State better hope these JUCOs graduate. Otherwise that APR is gonna be oscar grouch status

Actually we're doing a better job on the APR front. We met our 2015 APR 970 requirement and looks to have some kind of spring practice.

Yeah but those are RESOURCE schools who can steer them JUCO kids into an easy major and a bunch of tutors. Not to mention they pass over the JC prospects that look like they may cause them some APR headaches. They can cherry pick the JC kids they want. Not saying don't take any of those kids. But our schools do have to be more careful than the big schools in bringing those kids in these days. We have a few on our roster now at SU. But just a few. Less than 5 for sure.

The teams that load up on JUCO 's are teams who haven't recruited well or can't recruit good High school athletes and need immediate help lol.

Smh. Typical though
But I digress. Some teams seemed to pick up some good players.
You already know the deal. That's why Mr Jenkins' led squad will be much improved & kick a lot of arse fall '16. Congrats to Bama St on that heckuva' showing today. Some are salty in the SWAC because a few of their commits decommitted at the last minute. Keep changing that staff during recruiting season. He signed an NLI w/ PVAMU earlier today, btw :D . [not you guys Bama St, that was for "hater" still drunk from HC loss lol]

Bama State signed a very good crop today. Lost a couple but got most of the ones targeted from what I can tell. There are still a few days left for this signing period. @Bewildered , I was expecting a few more signees for PV. Was it that one OL that signed, or did I miss some? Thanks for the kudos. Hey, It's all about being competitive, but also realizing that we ALL must get better and be able to compete OOC. We are getting there. Some will be left behind.

I was thinking we'd go juco heavy but I don't think Hughes wants quick fixes. I think we'll have a lot of hs guys to red shirt and a few juco. I know we're waiting on a juco qb to sign.
