Excuse me TGO.... AAMU thew the ball 306 times for 1761 yards... JSU threw the ball 257 times for 1439 yards.... next excuse..... now tell my why JSU gave up more sacks during the season than AAMU gave up.

He plays a weaker schedule. Let him replace NW State and Hampton instead of 0-11 Tx So and Savannah State. Decent schools won't play AAMU because they know that the return game at their stadium won't have any Annie Mae or neutral fans because no one wants to see Annie Mae..

And for you all to talk about JSU and what you have beat us in. I am sure that if you check the Commishioners cup standing since you have been in the SWAC, JSU is ahead of you every year.....and we are down right now...LOL

TP you were losing recruits to Valley and Alcorn what are you talking about... Why would someone want to play for a coach who has TOTALLY killed a once proud program.

also How many offensive points did JSU score against AAMU last year? Thank God for the option, thats the only way JSU put points on the board last year.

Last year....our program was so proud that we fired a 7-4 coach. Have you heard of rebuilding? Bell had to start from scratch. Why do you think you beat us so bad in 2003...it wasn't because you were so good. It was becasue Hughes left Bell with only a half of a decent first string and a second string that at best would be traditional starters for Annie Mae. But what did Bell do? He went out and recruited enough players to fill the first string. Now we have a foundation and on that foundation we are going to lay all nine of your sorry SWAC azzez.

But what has Jones done? He took Cooper's recruits to the SCG one year...came in third the next and had to fight with a sorry Alcorn team for second this year. Ain't nobody impressed with that loser. He has reached his ceiling. On the other hand, noone knows what Bell is going to do once he brings the talent back to Jackson and gets the right players for his system.
 
..and DaHill, Alcorn and Valley can never out recruit us. Some people just want to go where they feel they will get the best chance to play immediately. When Bell gets through, we will have future NFL players once again on the bench waiting their turns. Hughes destroyed that tradition.....

Also, the QB Alcorn got only went to Alcorn because he has no competion there. Thigpen is bigger and had a stronger arm...so I guess he didn't want to have to fight for a position....and the WR that they got...JSU was looking at him, but we can pass on a WR that runs a 4.7.

He went from being down 42-0 in at the end of the third quarter in 2003 to you only being up by 3 by the end of the 3rd in 2004. We gonna finish the job this year.

Don't get mad when you lose an argument. Alcorn was sorry and Bell should know it. He lost to three sorry teams this year...TNState, AAMU and Alcorn. If that happens again, he will certainly be shown the door. Bell improved the team as a whole. Can the same be said about Jones? Last year was probably the worst AAMU team that has hit the field since he has been in Hicksville.

Dude, can you please tell me what your point is? Who was proud of our offense? If we were so proud of it, why did we fire ALL of the offensive coaches? That offense was ghetto, unorganized, and coonish. It produced more turnovers than AAMU normally have in points in a game. We are building a REAL offense now....the kind you see on TV and the kind you will never have at AAMU because that type of offense takes talent at EVERY position. Hughes offense only required a good QB and decent RB's and WR's.

...and no it was not a moral victory. It is just a fact. Your team was better was than mine but my team improved...yours digressed. You didn't have to play our second string this year and our backups were much better thanks to Bell.

Hughes offense won games... Bells offense is making ticket sales go down, losing games, and causing uproar in the Jackson community.

When you build a program, not only do wins come but also championships but you would not know anything about that. Jones is in his 3rd year as HC and has yet to win a championship. If he is there two more years and never wins a championship but has two winning seasons, I bet you keep him...WHy? you have low expectations.

As for his first season, Bell had players on that team. Hughes didn't leave him with nothing. You had players that left the team because of Bell and went on to be great players at other schools (UAB and NCCU). You look very stupid saying that kind of crap. You can't defend a coach that comes in and can't win with what he has. Every coach that has entered the SWAC in the last 3 years has made some kind of impact on their team's record. TxSU was the exception to that. They really had no one because most of their players got kicked off by administration. What is the excuse again for Bell?

Please stop bullishtting yourself and realize that you got a coach that lives in and coaches from the bottom of a barrel and is taking your team on a tour of where he resides. Your AD is a dummy and he has made two bad hires. Dumb Bell and Grandpa Anderson!

Consistently your coach has run bull across your ears and made up reason of why his "Players" lost the game. He has never admitted that he has done anything wrong. I remember when GR used to say these things about Cooper. Well, we did halfway listen and got rid of him. You are going through something worst than we have went through. You have a dummy telling you that it's everybodies fault and suspending his best players for wearing the wrong cleats and chasing seniors down with campus police over equipment.

That dude's priorities ain't set right. He floats from trying to be a coach to being a bully over kids because he thinks he has the right to do so. But then again, he ain't that tough because he had to go and get the flashlight cops to get his equipment. That dude is a cancer to jsu and frankly I hope you keep him for another 6 years just because you "consistently" come out and try to defend him knowing you really want his arse gone!

You shole is right Mike. Pete inherited a good nucleus of players in 93 and went 11-1 the first year he was at SU. But he allowed those players to develop instead of changing everything. The only thing he changed was the winning attitude and being organized. He didn't implement his total system until Wofford and company arrived and Eric Randall and company left. Bell philosophy is not flawed, it is how and when he implements his system that is flawed. Plus that 1A smug mentality is killing him. He needs humble himself first. Oh well he'll be gone after this year.

Nah frat, you aint misinformed. I hear some of the same stuff you report on here. I just got tired of selling out my barbershop homies on TSPN by posting it, only to be told that I have no idea what I am talking about when my people are JSU folks. LOL. Seriously the AD will have to find him and Bell a new job after this year if it don't get any better. Folks at home don't even want to talk about football anymore. I can't ever remember that isht happening. The bad thing is that people I know at home are just dumbfounded that this is actually happening at JSU. When you talk to the average JSU alum and not TP about the state of JSU football. It's like talking to someone who has lost their best friend. I kid you not. It is just plain ole _ _ _ ! :(
