I know that "dancing" is a staple of the tiger (gsu) band, but I really do believe
that they should spend less time dancing and more time focusing on their playing.

I have been saying that for a few years. Focus that energy on the REAL reason you are in that uniform..... PLAYING MUSIC!
 
Excuse me but GIDE DAMN!!!! WTF! is going on with Gramblings program? The first thing I played was clip 3 and :vomit: I mean SHIT! That's just terrible. DAMN! I couldn't even finish listening to the song.

I agree. There's entirely too much movement, and it's distracting. Why have a dance line with all that dancing on the field and in the stands? I don't get it. :xeye: Their sound would probably improve if there was a lot less movement.

Exactly. A lil' bit of jiggin' around is okay IN MODERATION. It's shows showmanship, and is entertaining, but, on the flipside, too much of it just looks tacky.. Maybe they are trying to SHOCK, AWE and AMAZE us with their spiffy dance moves, to distract us from that melodious train wreck of a sound that they have goin' on.

Soror, I have asked that question for years. Doc used to say the same thing about them. He would be like WTF they have a dance team for if the band is going to dance at the same time. :lol:
 
If JSt. can change styles and get away from their "musical" roots, and make their sound "better". Then, Grum can get away from dancing at the same time they're playing. Like Crit said...can't do nothing but make them sound better.

You are suppose to improve every year not...u know what, nevermind. I feel as though it is useless to give them pointers anymore.
