You dont have a problem with upkeep? Maybe I havent been to your campus then. Do you have another school other than the one thats behind that unfinished football stadium.

The point is, you guys are so worried about JSU building a stadium, and we are not.

JSU could throw up one of those piss poor 25K stadiums like you guys tmrw if we wanted to. How stupid would that be? We will continue to make changes to the things that are important while you guys cant even afford to turn the damn heat on in the gym.

But we are all brothers, in the same ship, swimming in the same sea.

If we were to build a stadium, we would need to build a 40K seat stadium at the minimum. JSU is not like the rest of you that could literally play your games at the local high school. Actually (1-13), you could have your games at 1 of your 7 practice fields and everyone could bring their lawn chairs and coolers. We shole could have a funky good time. Its just recreation for yall anyway.

Man you ought to stay dizzy the way you spin things. I notice how you reference the last time you played them (in the CCC) instead of the last time you played them. Please explain the 48-6 drubbing they put on yall in Jackson during your last championship season.

History
In 1983, during construction of the RCA Dome, there was a significant effort mounted to develop events and activities to be conducted in the new facility. The Mayor's Office and a blue ribbon committee of community leaders worked to attract events that eventually included a Chicago Bears pre-season game, college football games featuring Notre Dame versus Purdue and Indiana versus Illinois, and the Indianapolis Colts professional football franchise.

The Mayor's committee funded a fact-finding trip to the Bayou classic held in New Orleans to determine the feasibility of hosting a similar event in Indianapolis. It was determined that the event would meet Indianapolis' goals of increasing tourism while also generating revenue for the new stadium. With a $150,000 grant from the Lilly Foundation and incredible volunteer support, Indiana Black Expo and the Indiana Sports Corporation collaborated to stage what has become the top, Black college football classic in the nation.

Nearly 40,000 spectators attended the first game featuring Grambling versus Mississippi Valley State on October 13, 1984. On that day, Jerry Rice and Mississippi Valley State staggered a powerful Grambling football team 48-36 and the excitement has never stopped.

Learn your SWAC history. The last time JSU played FAMU was 1998. A year in which we started off 0-3 but ended the season at 7-4. We would have been SWAC champs had SU not turned off the clock. Also, that same year we dropped dayum near 70 points on Gram. SU was the SWAC champ that year.

The last time we played FAMU and WE were SWAC champions, we beat FAMU (MEAC Champs). That was 1996. FAMU came to Jackson 3-0 and we were 2-0. FAMU was #1 in the Sheridan poll and 16th in the 1-AA. JSU was ranked 2nd in the Sheridan poll BUT 6th in 1-AA. The stage was set for a great game. 38,000 fans showed up for a REGULAR SEASON GAME. Something Gram has never seen. JSU won the game by using a great BIG DADDY led defense. We were also crowed BCF National Champs that year.

Unlike your coward ass schools that run to Savanah State, Miles, MoB, Langston, and JC Smith for easy wins, Mighty JSU doesnt do that. We dont run from nobody and we take on ALL comers at the height of their success.

FAMU back out of playing us to play Miami. Get it straight.

We can't help having an easy schedule...JSU is a conference game for us! At least Langston and MoBrown gave us a game past the opening kickoff. Your team took a knee quicker than Azzberry after Doug's overhand right!

We're coming to Jackson to beat your azz some 'mo...Remember it was me who told you that Kent would nevah beat Grambling and nevah win a SWAC championship...Does he still have any golf eligibility?

The fact is that Grambling is one of the biggest culprits in scheduling poor non conference games. You play the likes of MoB and Langston and Savanah State and then brag on your QBs stats after he played the whole game and threw the ball on the last play.

To each his own...the facts are the facts....whatever floats your boat.

Im just glad my school isnt a coward school an we dont have to schedule so far down for an easy win.
 
You need to stop worrying about who else we beat and concentrate on helping Kent with his Golf game. Maybe Payton will let him piggyback on the Golf team with those Millsaps College cross-registered student/athletes.
