If he wasn't producing, why was he still there? You have a stable athletic program, so be careful what you wish for.

Now this post was less than two years ago. All the hoopla on this board about the new phase one facilities and upcoming phase 2 building to come under Robinson's tenure....NOWWWWW all of a sudden he didn't do jack for the university. Look at all the familiar names under those posts just bragging away at PV's new facilities.

I laugh at PV folks when they spit on Ashley's shoes. They need our AD for ONE year and they would be begging for Ashley to come back

We know that, but it was under his tenure though. The PV folks called Robinson their "Leader". Gotta at least give him credit for not getting in the way of progress.
 
So will Ashley be able to get that domed stadium built that the SWAC has been anticipating for years???

We've been preaching this gospel since day number one. It's no fault of ours that you and others harbor a reading comprehension issue. We, for the most part, have been consistent in our disdain for the original hire.

Man, no disrespect, but you are very clueless to the process that is in place in the state of Texas w/ respect to accountability and $$$$$ @ the public university level. Stay on the outside, and keep assuming. It makes you seriously look very ignorant and naive, obviously. Thank goodness for aTm-Sys intervention, yet again, to show GREAT leadership during the proposal and implementation phases.

You better set expectations low because this is not part of Ashley Robinson's skill set and one of our major complaints. Compliance, yes. Many people have no idea about the duties of an AD and generating revenue/securing sponsorships is a major part of that.

So you want to totally wreck this man's accomplishments over five years and give all the credit to the white folks from TAMU? Oh, ok.
Under Robinson, PV's athletic department competed for the commissioner's cup on a consistent basis. Wonder why you failed to mention one word of that in your diatribe?
Heck, your athletic program is in better shape than two thirds of the SWAC...including JSU's.
Even more, PV's football program, under his tenure, has been the second best in the SWAC.
I wonder what PV's athletic program was like pre-Robinson. Let me do some checking around.

This Robinson guy left PV's athletic department in decent shape. You have decent fundraising programs going forth and secured a stadium under this man's tenure and you guys are STILL ungrateful? Heck, he even brought you from the depths of APR penalties, yet not one word of thanks to the man?
Perhaps the next AD PV gets will do a better job.

There was absolutely nothing good going on in PV's athletic department pre-him. PV's athletic department was stagnated and never even competed in commish cup standings pre-him. Our athl coffers ($$$$) were SEVERELY underfunded pre-him. Let you tell it, the saving grace of our 1990s grads plural did absolutely nothing to contribute to present day PVAMU athls. Brought PV from the depths of APR penalties? LMAO! You're absolutely correct. LMAO! :D

I'll give you one example of the power of your new AD. He went back in time 15+ years earlier and hired our most dominant womens basketball coach Cynthia Cooper and the staff that delivered our first outright football championship since 1964. Dr Charles McClelland didn't do shit for PV, right? I'll bet a dime to a dollar you don't even know who succeeded Dr Mac and who was our interim prezzo that was VERY instrumental in laying the foundation you naive outsiders visibly see today. lol Stop guessing about PVAMU business. It makes you look very ignorant, no disrespect intended.
