JSU Offense

...especially in Jackson!

We will finish September at 4-1. I am not like the others. I complained and complained and complained about the UVL game. People kept saying the players needed the reps.. i was like BULLSCHITT. We NEED games like the azz whoopin we just took. When we played FAMU, we LEARNED that we need to work on our redzone offense. When we played TNState, we LEARNED that we need to work on/adjust our blocking. Ask anybody what we LEARNED from UVL and you will hear crickets. With the talent that we have, we can turn this around...and we will!

Grambling.. is BATTLE TESTED....we need to be ready!

Corrected it for you.

We have had three games where we were totally tested. Outside of Houston game we played 7 hard quarters.

TNState is one of the best teams in the COUNTRY...
They just looked like that against yall.

but I digress, this is your usual MO. Kinda like how after your game against FAMU, you started propping them up as world beaters, like you're doing TnSt now.

No one made them out to be world beaters. But they aren't slaw either. They were a good, tough opponent for a new coach.

If he knew what the problem was then he would have made adjustments in last week's game against Tenn State.

Ummm he did make the adjustment. The second half we changed our blocking scheme, moved the ball and while I am sure TNState took their feet of the gas, JSU outscored TNState 7-0.

Nope, never said FAMU was world beaters. Their offense is bad. Their defense is above average but OUR red-zone offense was horrible. If that was our second game of the year, we would have beat FAMU by 3 TDs.

If we was a good football team. That famu game wouldn't of came down to the last play. Famu DB just knock the ball down and instead of trying to catch it. Man O Man. We are medicore. We not gon beat Alabama St or Alcorn.

It's okay.. you are just a JSU fan. You are supposed to be negative and want better. It was our first game of a new EVERYTHING... FAMU can't say that. Holmes has been at FAMU for a few years, and had at least one whole season as the HC. You are unreasonable but hey.. that what make JSU fans the best BCF fans in the nation! :D

We didn't play well in the red zone vs FAMU and don't forget that the refs gave them that fumble back. You are right, it never should have came down to the last play but it did and the best team won.

Serious Question Tp

Do you think yall will make it back to Houston??

Alcorn and Bama State are favorites, just like they were before the season. I think we'll finish 7-5 or 8-4. That probably won't be good enough to get us back to Houston. TP will likely disagree LOL.

Why not? You act like we have lost 2-3 SWAC games. In 2012, we started out 1-3.. then went 2-4...and STILL got to Bham. Right now, we are 2-1. This time next week, we will be 3-1. Next week, you will be 1-3. Do YOU think your team is going back to Houston? (after this weekend, that is.. LOL )

Alcorn and BAMA State are better than us right now but we don't see them til November. The scheduling gods were GOOD to us.. we have GSU, UAPB, Valley in THAT order... We have time to get the offense together and fix what's wrong. Then we get to play SU and PV.. two teams who MIGHT have a pulse to see what we have learned or still need to fix. The November stretch is the important stretch. If we don't get there STILL in contention for Houston, I would be surprised.
