Dude, if Bell wanted Albany's coach...looks like he could have got him but Bell has to go with people who he thinks knows football and can get the job done. Steve Wilson was 0-11 last year but he once led a team to a Black College National Championship. It does not matter where you came from...hell we had an OC who came from Marshall and UGA and he did not know ****. One thing wrong with our offense is that we never had a person experienced in calling plays....now we have not one but TWO former OC's on staff. And if you look at it, one knows the passing game and one knows the running game. We have made a serious upgrade in coaching.

....and Hampton does not have a good coaching staff. Joe Taylor ....nuff said.

You are absolutely crazy TP. Joe Taylor has a good coaching staff. Ask the other coaches around football and they will tell you that. Joe aint doing it all by himself. If you think that, then you don't know football. You need to start using some sense when you post on the sports board. Smack is different. You know damn well those 2 coaches are not exactly the best JSU could do. But if you are happy with them then fine. We will welcome them to the Bluff this year with open arms. :lmao:

Taylor just had like five 7-4 seasons before he had this 10-2 squad. He ain't nothing but a Coach Hughes. His staff is nothing but SWAC rejects. Kaiss was fired by AAMU and Taylor (smart move) just fired Karl Morgan who we used to school at Alcorn. Now, if you want to give Taylor credit, you need to give his RECENT recruiting efforts credit. He had talent last year, it wasn't the coaching. I would never want Joe Taylor at Jackson State.

What's the best we could do JR? Unless you understand Bell and know who he turned down, you can't make that assessment. All you need to know is that on offense, we finally have offensive coaches....and we still have Darryl Jones.
