Time for a forensic audit and investigation followed by criminal charges for any findings.

That done, the organization needs to clean house, hire a competent, independent staff and have regular oversight .

This is why I cringe when people say HBCUs main problem is funding. No it's questionable leadership and mismanagement of resources but of course too much truth that make "us" look bad is not allowed which is why the problem will get worse.

IMO, you can find accounting irregularities in lots of places. The real issue is we have less room for error with less funding than the bigger schools.
