JSU DC and DFO !!!


If he can evaluate talent and run a 4-3.....that'd help tremendously. Idc about him being a defensive "guru ". I just want to see a good defense and someone to reign in some of this unnecessary posturing. Use that energy for turnovers.
 



The SWAC has not seen a great DC since Greg Johnson back in the 90's and Robert Kelly! Grambling and Pete Richardson Staff had great defenses as well! Alcorn your great years came at hands of QB Mcnair, if you were not JSU, SU or Grambling in the 90's didnt matter in the SWAC!

I agree. His 2003 defense won the MEAC but **** took him to OT and SU (SWAC champs) beat them in Vegas. However, I am certainly inclined to believe that he will have a significant talent upgrade in Jackson over what he had to work with in Greensboro.

Yeah I'll agree on that... he'll have much better talent to work with
 
Yea I to don't know much about Lee, I'm sure if he was able to utilize the talent where he was I'm sure he can do it here. One thing about Jsu when there winning, they can become a small pin in ole miss and Mississippi state side when it comes to recruiting . Even if JSU wasn't there first choice once they see they will be second string some realize they rather be on feild rather than just wearing an Adidas uniform. I wish him best of luck. Harold Jackson had to invest in someone that has ATLEAST a 75 percent proven record, because his job is slightly on line and who wants to be dismissed at there own alma mata ?!?!?

Oh he was A&T's DC then. They ran a 3-4. Game was close the first half . SU spread them out the 2nd half and they couldn't matchup. Meac teams are mostly run base offenses. Swac team throw that rock.

That was when su had a decent QB. Right now that's highly questionable.

So the SWAC freshman of the year and the QB most say is good is not good to you? Austin Howard got more than just SWAC accolades for his Freshman performance. Don't know what the kid did not do to make you think he can't play. Especially leading a team to the SWAC championship in his true Freshman year minus his biggest target in Menard all season.
 
Lets be honest JSU 3-4 was only poor because of Mis tackle and a DC whom did not understand the SWAC football MESS! How many other conferences have to send you a Prior week Football game to prepare for you! JSU coaches did not understand that they need 3 Game plans for every game! Never use the same prev games plays because thats how this conference cheats.

He only looked great because other Defenses were not Great as they have been in the PAST! Trust he will be MUTED this fall ! After the first 4 games for SU

Which 1st or 2nd Team did he make?

You probably right cause the SWAC loaded from Texas all the way to Alabama. Once UAPB get it together and COMEGY gone retire and let someone who is really ready to lead the delta Devils into future, everybody will be loaded then.

The way I took it, he's saying that there will be no weak walk over teams. A team might loose to the bottom of the division but still represent in Houston due to all the positive coaching changes. Each game will have to earned and no gimmicks.
 
I'm not being rude but Gloria Miller, the new DFO ?!?! Really ???? I took her sociology class she a little not mentally up to the task. She one of those professors that be in there own world. What world is that, nobody in the class knew. Harold Jackson is the pastor, Alonzo lee is the new chairman of the deacon board, Ricky porter is the new chairman of thrustee, now They just erected the mother board. Is this a coaching staff or a church ???
