Who said the sucked anyway??? Singleton was a disappointment, but McCree produced. What has been said is those guys simply didn't cut it. And there was nobody from JSU staff present. I said they can't wait until their playing days are done to prepare.

Look at the end of the season. When our coaches changed some of the defensive sets, we showed Alcorn who had the best defense in the conference. However, I will say that in last 2-3 years, we became short on talent and even OMJ said that we have VERY good talent just enough of it. Once the NCAA cut our scholarship limits, Viv never gave Comegy all of his scholarships back (according to Comegy). OMJ has a full allotment. Going 3-4 years with his scholarships cut was not fair to Comegy. Now OMJ has had to spend time making up for it. Just get ready for JSU.. the most talented team in BCF, to get back to whoopin ya'll azz!

So this fella admitted that he stopped working out his senior year(basically quitting on his team) and thought he had a chance at the pros!?!? Smh

Wow it's some female tendency shit going on in here. I'll stay out of that.

What I will say is that I'm glad these young men tried. What bother's me are the tweets stating that this is Walter Payton's school etc.... What this so called knowledge holder of sports fails to understand is that if HBCUs had the resources like the FBS programs then maybe we would get those good athletes. Furthermore, if any of these FBS schools would have played us in the 70s they would have gotten skull drugged across the field; but that is neither here nor there.

We have to train harder and work harder. I may joke about JSU but at the end of the day all of our programs have to train harder if we want our players to play on Sundays.

With JSU making up a majority of the participants, its pro day also consisted of players from neighboring schools, such as Mississippi Valley State, Belhaven and Murray State whose best possible chances of making an NFL would be as undrafted free agents..

Seems like the scouts just went through the motions and called it a day. It wasn't just JSU guys that was sent home.

Seems like this was an official "JSU" Pro Day without being official if you get what I mean. The coaches didn't stay around because it seems like something a local company has been putting on for years and JSU athletes just happen to be there. Also the scouts did rush from Ole Miss so it seemed like they were in a hurry to leave (part of the blame goes on the athletes as well)

As I said on Facebook, JSU, Alcorn and Valley need to have an official Pro Day together. Any legitimate pro prospects (NFL, CFL, AFL) need to get together after the season and properly train to run the 40 to prevent stuff like this from happening again. Like someone said before, the seniors that will be in the 2016 draft need to be working twice as hard right now being behind the 8ball already being from a HBCU.

Honestly, I hate they blowing it up like this but this wasn't just one of the years where we had a lot of outstanding NFL potential. We are in rebuilding mode as far as talents goes. Just give us a couple of years. And there wasn't any reason for Harold Jackson to have been at pro day, the kids either perform or not. But these where Comegys recruit, not much HJ could say. But I will say JSU got the bad end of the stick. They usually allow the players ATLEAST two or three different task to perform. I assume the scouts kind of already knew we didn't have much to offer this year.
