PINE BLUFF, Ark. - Arkansas-Pine Bluff coach Monte Coleman has received an official reprimand from the Southwestern Athletic Conference for criticizing officials after a loss to Jackson State last weekend.



"This is the worst officiating game I have ever been a part of," Coleman said, according to the Pine Bluff Commercial. "I'm talking about ever. Ever. These guys, all of them, print their names because they shouldn't get paid.

"They should be suspended. Every last one of them."

According to the newspaper, Coleman was upset about losing his final timeout during the fourth quarter. Coleman said he wanted to talk to an official about a roughing the passer call.

"I said, 'I just need to ask you a question, can you come over?'" Coleman said. "He said, 'If I come over, it's going to be a timeout.' <font color="red">So I turned and walked away. I looked back, and he's calling a timeout."</font> :shame:

This is sad. They lost by 11 and JSU took a knee ON THE ONE YARD LINE TO END THE GAME. We could have beat them by 18 but we were too classy for that. So what exactly was a time-out supposed to do? We were already in the last drive when that was called. Was he expecting the ref to change the call or something? :confused:
 



Before it's blown up too far, JSU didn't cheat, those blind arse refs missed a slew of calls and decisions! For 1 We called a time out because the play clock had ran down. When play resumed, 5 seconds later the refs threw a flag for delay of game when it was 20 seconds on the play clock!!! That's just a sample of the "quality" of calls thet were going on! There were a few calls against JSU that were suspect!!!!

The swac office really needs to address the quality of officials they send to games! It's pathetic!!!!!

Coleman needs his ass whipped for this garbage. Why would he make this sorry ass excuse for this sorry ass coaching. While watching that game, GR was thinking that he was watching the worst coached team he has ever seen, now GR can see why.

JSU had 16-118 penalties and yards
PB 11-106 penalties and yards

So if the refs were cheating, they didnt do a good job.

And furthermore, the PB linemen were grabbing and holding all of our players on every play. When we blitzed they would reach out and grab the blitzer and the refs rarely if ever called it.

The funniest thing GR saw was one of our DEs almost got his jersey ripped off by a tackle that was holding him so bad. Instead of the ref calling holding, he went over to help the guy fit his jersey back over his pads. :lmao:
PB almost ripped the guys jersy off, but instead of calling holding, he went over to fix his jersey. Now why would his jersey be ripped all over his pads lke that? So if anyone got cheated it was JSU.

As far as Coleman goes...this highlights him as a piece of garbage coach. I would give my team an excuse like "the refs cheated" if my team hasnt won a damn game....and didnt come close to winning this one.

Oh well PB alums...GR cant see yall winning a game in the near future if this is the best you have to offer. Maybe if yall play Bama State you have a chance. Oh well....
