Bayou Brigade v.s. Gump Goons

The SUma Cum Laude of SWAC football gets a visit from the insects that has won only 1 championship in a quarter of a century. Once the bees arrive in Mumford Stadium, they will feel more uncomfortable than L.C. Cole in a murder trial with all jurors name Joe. The tenacious "Dog Day D" of S.U. is fuming that Forest Gump homeboys would disgrace the 1/2 Million dollar turf in Mumford by stepping on it. This is not good news for the mentally challenged ASU signal calller that went to the wrong school in the first place and then made a worse decision and went to Bama State. S.U.'s O-Line, Q.B., Backs & receivers will be charged by the East Baton Rouge Police Dept. with arson after torching the insects defense. The SUperior team by.....17

"The Rumble in the Jungle II" ..........JSU v.s MVSU.........

D.Bell & kINT pays a visit to the broke down Satelite and attempts to be the first team in the winners bracket of the Mississippi HBCU BCF State championship. The devils defense will come out as usual, with their hands tied behind the backs. "Kolor Blind kINT" will tag them with his passes giving them interceptions on a hefty turkey platter. Valley cannot win playing with their hands tied behind backs but can come very close against JSU....Blue Bengals by.....9

I have not seen an article after the game. Apparently he is on his throne concocting more fallacies about SWAC football.

Week Five - Grambling's Loss, Eugene's Gain

by Tony Moss, Executive Director of I-AA Football

Philadelphia, PA (Sports Network) -

Bruce Eugene is the real deal.

The Grambling State quarterback, who had thrown for a zillion yards over the past two years, but could never quite shake the doubts of those that pondered his level of competition, left little question about his skills this past Saturday night. Eugene completed 36 of 68 passes for 397 yards and three touchdowns against the top-ranked McNeese State Cowboys, keeping the G-Men in the game against a defense long-acknowledged as one of I-AA?s best. The Tigers lost the game, 31-20, and a costly fourth-quarter interception was among the junior?s few mistakes. But no matter what the scoreboard read, Eugene?s message had clearly been sent.

He drew praise from the McNeese State fans that had been lined up to bury him, remembering his 4-22 passing day in last year?s Grambling battle (his first-ever start) and his lackluster performances on national TV against Southern last year and San Jose State to begin this season.

MSU head coach Tommy Tate embraced Eugene at the end of the game. Cowboy defensive coordinator Lance Guidry told the Lake Charles American Press, ?[Eugene?s] the best I?ve seen. Better than [Villanova?s Brett Gordon] in the playoffs last year.?

McNeese defensive tackle John Paul Jones told the paper, ?We kept trying different things on defense to see if we could confuse Eugene, but he kept recognizing our blitzes and made great plays."

It would appear that the quarterback?s quest for the Walter Payton Award has been legitimized, and for Eugene?s sake, let?s hope that?s true. If the quarterback continues to put up lusty numbers and the Tigers roll through the SWAC, one would expect him to be in the running, as he was a year ago, when he finished third. We?ll have to see if the ill will Grambling head coach Doug Williams created when he publicly criticized the 100-plus Payton voters in a university press release (and refused to congratulate winner Tony Romo of Eastern Illinois) last year will translate into fewer positive returns for Eugene.

That would be a shame, because as McNeese State players, coaches, and supporters will decisively tell you, Eugene is worthy for consideration among the I-AA elite.

This ish is SMACK in its purest form. This man has an anti SWAC agenda and was muzzled last week. The next spin he is spewing on the award is trying to link Doug's freedom of speech rights with Eugene's on the field performance. He should be a replacement host of The Bill O'Reilly's show. If this Moss Man was on your television screen, the T.V. would tilt to the right..

Hmmmmmm....didn't think of it that way.

The dude feels he has a right to his opinion but wants to deny Doug the right to his. Talk about a hypocrite! It's really pompus and arrogant on the part of media folk like Moss who feel they have the right to post an editorial without someone voicing a dissenting opinion.

Because Doug spoke up for his player, he getsl upset. Not only was he questioning Bruce Eugene but also our entire conference. That's cool...he's entitled to his opinion. When Doug voiced his opinion, he feels that Doug was out of line. That's actually very petty on his part. Is Doug biased towards Bruce? Of course he is...but Moss is biased against Bruce and our entire league.

But none of that bothers me. What gets me is that now he expects us to say " Yeah Bruce is good...see Tony Moss said so"
As though me and 25K death row inmates give a rat's arze what Tony Moss thinks!

I'd bet 100.00 that Moss is a republi-kook! That's their mantra, you know....HYPOCRISY!

Sorry to change the subject, but I just had to interject that. Carry on.
