Jordan's son won't wear Adidas at UCF...school facing $3M dilemma

Let Daddy Jordan buy out the Addidas contract and be done with it. Lil' Jordan is not an NBA player so he get's no say in this. Wear what the school provides or move on. If his name was not Jordan this would not be an issue. Not like the big boys in college BB was knocking down his door to get him on the team.

Trigger Man....folks are going to ALWAYS notice if Jordan's own son ain't wear'n Jordans. PBI. That brand of shoe has reached that level.

Like "stroke" stated...that cat was probably wearing J's coming out the womb. And, if your ol'man IS Jordan...you can't expect him to wear anything else. Let me repeat it, again...that dude's daddy IS 2-3.

That's why I say UCF should've seen this coming. Heck, when I first read where he was going, the first thing I looked up was what company was sponcering UCF. And, I knew it'd eventually become a problem.

I say let him wear what he wants.....right on that pine and tell him, "I hope that works out for ya!"

You folks are over looking the money factor. Name one player, coach or faculty member who is going bring in the money that Jordan will for UCF? This is about donor money. Jordan friends will donate 40 times that amount.

Im sure it wouldn't be an issue if his name wasn't Jordan.....seeing that the man stated that he was wearing the Jordan shoe for FAMILY reasons .... :shame:

And thank you Blade.... Da hell did you expect when you recruited the boy who's Father is "THE MAN"????? Thats like you Switching your Accounts to Compass Bank when Yo family owns Wells Fargo, Just because Compass Gives away Free candy to its customers

~walks out~

:bawling:
If it's that meaningful to his family and it's a one year fine of 3M.. I say let MJ pay the fine each year his son plays there and be done with it..

Spoiled brat, I think that that he should just wait on the shoes and just consentrate on his basketball career. I understand he want's honor his father but why put your school in that type of financial crisis :noidea: !

Errah...he was Jordan's son well before UCF recruited him. What kind of concentration you gotta do when you were born INTO the shoe?

He's spoiled, no doubt. But, how does that make him a brat? His ol'man IS 2-3.

Ya'll know ya'll would be pissed if Marcus Jordan signed with one of our schools, refused to wear your gear, and cost your program $3 million...

I think an exception should be made. Adidas should not fine the school for this one player and this one player has a valid reason.

Good point but i did say kind of loosely because i wasn't for sure but he could have took a different route than the one he is taking. He could be jeopardizing the financial stability of the school as it pertains to basketball and all he want's to do whine about how he can't where his fathers shoes :noidea: ! He may not be whining but he sho' seem childish, IMO!

Well let Dad write that check and end this mess.

UCF is loving because they get some more attention.

And Lil Jordan needs to realize something-if he was that good he wouldn't be at UCF or had to walk on at Illnios in the first place.

He knew going to that school and what shoes they wear. He could have asked that BEFORE signing with the team. He's trying to get some attention too and soory it makes him look bad. How many kids would LOVE to be where he is-in college and playing for a team?

Now if the school does lose that money-he won't be on that team for too long because the other sports will lose that money too.

man, yall know good and well if yall daddy was the G.O.A.T. yall conceited asses would walk up in there with yall nose stuck up in the air talkin bout, "man fucc Adidas shoes, I aint wearin them joints."  hell some of yall would try to be out like that even without his name.

How much is Jordan giving this school? somebody pull the numbers and then start the convo over.

The Jordan loyality to NIKE is something else.

Ok, how about Adidas make the uniforms for Mississippi State. Let's say Jordan's son was to go to State. What is he gone do, tell State, "Hey, I hope ya'll got a Nike uniform, because I ain't wearing that Adidas one"? Nukka please, like I said before, either wear what they provide or kick rocks. The athletes are getting all that gear for free anyway.
According to the article, UCF uses Adidas apparel and equipment.

This is a good point and very interesting.

Stand up for what you believe in Lil Jordan. Don't let the man hold you down.

In some people's opinions, he'll be doing a lot more than his father did.
