JROCK, if you don't know what was happening behind closed doors at 3100 Cleburne before and while Orlando was there then shut your mouth and stick to knowing your jaguars!

Like I said in my original thread, he may have been great for Southern but he was not for Texas Southern so leave it at that! So I know you can't let someone get the last word over you so let's hear your rebuttal.

Dude go to hell. It seems that every time you post, that mess at TXSU is top secret. Yall need to move that wretched program to d-2 or make better adminstrative decisions for your football program. You people were so embarASSED with your last recruiting class until you hid it. Every thing in the dark must come to light meaning you can't hide that hot mess in Houston. You seeked to exploit a talented assistant coach and got duped.

I just knew you couldn't resist; right on que.

Also, ask any Howard graduate that knows Coach Wilson and they'll tell you that he does not release his signees when everyone else does. He did it for 13 years at Howard and he tried to do it this year but the Chronicle put an article in the paper repremanding him of not disclosing his new athletes. But that won't happen again this year.

Asberry was not retained by Bell because that is not the type of offense that Bell wants to run. JC will not be hired by Jones because that is not the type of offense that Jones would like to run. If you read carefully, Jones is going to have a lot of say in the offense. And actually, I see it just like a lot of others, AAMU's offensive scheme was not really that bad...they just put all of the talent on the defensive side of the ball.

And to the people who brought my name up in this BAMA thread, just know that in 2005, without a doubt, JSU will be in Bham.

TP,

Yall offense have not been the same since Billy D. Whitman left. Bell needs some help on offense. I would strongly suggest that you all get Orlando from S.U. That would take some pressure off of your coach and allow him to flourish. Bell is not a bad guy, he just need somebody competent around him like Orlando to stimulate him mentally.

Dude, you're really intent on finding Orlando a job. :p I actually like Orlando because his offense was the perfect compliment to the SU defense. They weren't explosive, but they moved the ball, chewed up clock and didn't kill themselves with turnovers. I don't know what happened at TSU, but his years at Southern overshadow that 1 bad year at TSU. If Bell was to hire an offensive coach, it would be to support the guys we already have on staff; he wouldnt come in to overhaul the entire offense. He should look into guys like Bill Schoolfield, James Reese or Mark Orlando as well as others. Schoolfield would come cheap.

Someone like Orlando is the type of coach that Bell wants. Someone that is unimaginative and just wants to run 4 or 5 plays that work. However, Bell would not hire Orlando. Orlando does not know his system. As long as Bell is the HC, only his system will be used and he ain't about to teach an OC, of all people, the system. Besides, we already have it figured out in Jackson. To me, there are two major things wrong with our offense and if what I think is gonna happen happens, those two things won't be a problem.

If Orlando was that competent, SU should have kept him on. Pete was telling you something when Orlando's contract was not renewed. C-Leb has just confirmed that Orlando would not be anybody's answer. Thanks for offering him to us, but, if I had a vote, it would be for Cole.

You are a very astute individual. I believe Mark is a litter better than Schoolfield and Reese though.

TXSU offered the man 80K. You cannot hold a man back when he is offered more money. Also, you have bad information as Orlando is on S.U.'s coaching staff. (one day yall are going to learn)

I did not know that he was back at SU. I do assume that he is a position coach, and that Oliver is still the OC.

Yes, I hate to see a man try to improve himself and then lose his OC job. I believe he would be a step up for 7 out of the 9 SWAC programs.

Something must be gone awry with this Orlando dude, because JROCK is really trying to auction him off like a slave right off the ship.

"Sumf'in, sumf'in, sumf'in sum'fin jus ain't right!"

You are wrong! Let me tell you why.

Coach Jones has realized that there is only so much that he can do. He knows that in order for our offense to get any better than what it has been, he has to have someone that can dedicate his time totally to building a better offensive unit. He has to oversee both sides of the ball and doesn't have the time to take care of JUST the offense during games. Jones will have his say so, but he will have someone that he can depend on and has a histrory of building better athletes on that side of the ball.

We had too many delay of game penalties and time outs taken because he was trying to prepare the offense. Had he really had someone that he was confident in to run the offense as he does his defense. He would be in a better situation to make important calls. He could be just like Bobby Bowden. You never see Bowden put on a headset unless his OC can't get the calls right and they are losing. When he does, you best believe that the OC's arse is in jeopardy come Sunday Morning, if not that very night.

We are going to build a better team and it will have the very best OC that we can afford. Not, someone's family member that we won't be able to give the axe like some school that we all know. This goes for every position. If they can't do it right, we don't need them. We are paying good money for a qualty product and we won't settle for B.S. Comprende?

Miike....you know what I am going to say so... I will just let it go. :snicker:

Whatinhell does this have to do with SWAC officials?

You are trying your damndest to peddle this guy off to the first taker, and you wanna throw some tripe up in MY face? I simply asked what's wrong with him? If he's as great as you're making him out to be, why are you so hell-bent on getting rid of him? If you didn't have a sensible answer, you'd have fared better to not respond at all!

:retard:

I really hope that AAMU gets Johnnie Cole. That would drive home a point that I have been trying to make for a long time.

Actually, I don't. But I can probably guess that it would be something that you really don't mean. Like you are happy with Bell as your coach. I know you aren't, but just so you can't be smacked into Oblivion you stay away from saying it in public.

It's sad when you have to live two different lives on the boards, huh? :smh: I bet you been cussin' up a storm in your Private forum. If you've been saying the crap you say out here, I'm sure the great "Journalist" GR has cussed you out! Be careful what you wish for.... :lmao:

Sorry GR, you still my boy but that isht was funny and sad when I read it! That's one reason I didn't post it.

tp,

The points you've been "driving" home have run off the road and into ditches so many times, it's not funny anymore.

Mikey,

Who are you talking to bruh? You are talking in circles.....no one comprehends you man. GR ain't even on this thread.....you might need to take your medication. I think you are talking to yourself.
