John Edwards will endorse Barack Obama

(CNN) ? CNN's Mike Roselli and Suzanne Malveaux have confirmed that former Democratic presidential candidate John Edwards will endorse Barack Obama at a Michigan campaign event about an hour from now.

I wonder if this was a tactical move by the Obama campaign to make this annoucement the day after Hillary's superfical win in West Virginia. This is actually huge news and will move all of the media attention back to Obama.

Well Edwards only has 18 delegates, but technically they are free to support whomever they choose, and could very well still remain pledged to Edwards, even if he asks them to do otherwise.

Yeah, but I don't think that is likely at this point. Hillary won 12 delegates from the WV primary. He will likely gain the 18 delegates from Edwards which negates what Hillary did last night.

Now all we need is Al Gore to close the deal.

Yeah Gore needs to come on with iot because when hwe ran the Clinton's acted like they didn't even know Gore. Hung him out to dry BIG TIME!!!
 
Yeah BD, I feel ya...I am thinking about the Kentucky and Oregon primaries next week.

Would be nice for ole Al to come out before June 3rd with an endorsement.
