Whoopi and the other black lady supported the use of the word n****r among blacks but not whites. It got heated. Barbara was told that 'I don't want to hear the word coming from your mouth'.
I saw the clip on O'rielly not the show.
Now my opinion, the white folk were right! It is a shame when whites have to try to get US to stop calling each other niggger.
Google me this:
3) Did what Jessie say change anything in the black community in a negative manner that isn't already being done?
4) Did what Jessie alleged to have said change anything in the black community in a negative manner that isn't already being done?
5) Did what Jessie say change anything in player's community in a negative manner that isn't already being done?
6) Did what Jessie alleged to have said change anything in player's community in a negative manner that isn't already being done?
Obama could have addressed all this at the State of the Black Union if he had gone.
If he had gone...would it then be okay for him to say it in his Father's Day speech?
Google me this:
1) Did what Jessie say hurt Obama Politically?

Just as I thought..
Dude.
It's more like what's the point with you on Jessie or any other person from 30 or 40 year's ago.
No matter what, excuses cause you still have not shown me where someone else made Jessie act like a nut for no reason.
But anyway.
Have fun cause I'm not going to argue about something that's out there for all the see and hear.

Depends on what he would have said when he was there.
The Father's Day speech wasn't a bad message... it's just that he chose not to address anything specifically ailing the Black community for most of his campaign, but when he did it was only this.
Either speak on it all or not at all.
The NAACP speech this week covered a much broader scope and included more than just criticisms.
In so much as you seemingly do not see how calling each n****r, sagging, not taking education seriously and a multitude of other things detracts from us, you would not understand my explanation.Oh really... please elaborate.
This ought to be real good
In so much as you seemingly do not see how calling each n****r, sagging, not taking education seriously and a multitude of other things detracts from us, you would not understand my explanation.
When you dig a friend's grave because he was a n****r and lynched. When you enter school to see the words "n****r go home". When your grandmother sits up and dies in the hospital because she is a n****r, when your dad chants yes sir, no sir to a 10 year old because he is a n****r, when you can not drink from a water fountain because you are a n****r, when stare down the barrel of a gun as a 16 year old, when you boycott sports you love for a higher cause, when you have to use the colored bathroom...maybe you will understand.Clearly you have nothing to prove your case, therefore you can't elaborate any further on how it actually effect the black community.
As for me not being able to understand it (whatever it is), well that just very well may be because I know without a shadow of doubt that I'm not a ni@@er (got over that one years ago), so I don't lose any sleep over it.
Hell a friend and I were standing around talking at work some years ago and a couple of young redneck passed by in their truck and scream the usual profanity and finish it off with ni@@er.
We both looked at each other and laugh about because we had to think way back in our youth for the last time we had heard one of them do that openly.
I didn't lose any sleep, lost any money, wasn't prevented from getting a raise, wasn't prevented from going where I wanted to go or anything else you can come up with because it.
I don't know, maybe it's different where you come from, maybe all those thing do occur when someone calls you the N-word.
Especially if it's Jessie Jackson. BTW none of that happen to me either after Bill O'Reily CLAIMS that Jessie said it or after Jessie said that he wanted to cut Barack's nutts off.
BD, you do not understand the poem 'For whom does the bell toll, when it tolls for anyone...it tolls fro me'Clearly you have nothing to prove your case, therefore you can't elaborate any further on how it actually effect the black community.

Jesse and Al have allowed a black man to be a president who can do little or nothing to further the black cause. He has to be careful and serve ALL the people.Question:
If your mom and dad called you and your sibling "Stupid' all your life and really meant it. What do you think you and your sibling will be calling each other?
The use of the word "niggger" is deeper than a lot us want to except.
As far as Obama, we don't need a future black president trying to shame us for our wrong...That's garbage in my opinion.
What I see from Obama is a person that is doing everything he has to do to win the love and support of EVERYBODY... in this day and age that come across as fake. All the way to dismissing our famous black folk for their craft (Bernie Mac).
Dismissing those he been around for years, all to make the "white" man feelcomfortable... I never in my life saw No candidate jump so many hoops I have seen Obama jump. Every minute he has to "explain" his words or actions, when ever someone from he party disses McCain, McCain make it known what Obama SHOULD(in them white folk eyes, HE BETTER) do. I know and understand he represents change more than the next candidate, I am just calling it as I see it. Watching this foolishness only makes me wonder who else will be running the white house if he do get elected, and further more WHAT will he do for us BLACKS in this country. My hypothesis is nothing any white president wouldn't have done, because he has made it clear "THIS COUNTRY and WHITE" don't owe us blacks who slave and built this country nothing. It's amazing how after all we been through as a race we let so much slip pass us. But that is the result of us getting caught up in the perception we are apart of the strongest most wealthiest country and we too can be like "them"...lol
I'm not a person that sit around waiting for something to come to me..But fugg all this, we have to do for ourselves talk..Hell MANY of us already ARE, the U.S. no matter what a black man say that is trying to get into the oval say, OWE "US"....
Jesse and Al have allowed a black man to be a president who can do little or nothing to further the black cause. He has to be careful and serve ALL the people.
By Obama being president he allows your son to be a black president who can address race and the injustices his people have endured. Yet so many of us fight his election..fight progress of our people.
Exactly.....The man has a thin line to walk on BOTH sides.
I look at it like this. We know if he comes out to every African American event then (to them) he will look like a radical. Look how they treat his wife for being an educated, strong black woman with an opinion. He has to play YT's game in order to beat them. Once he gets into office, if he does nothing for us then that is the time to criticize him.
I guess we will have to sit back and see... I'm not a person to say look out for blacks and no one else if he is president... But we all know in order for it to be any change in this country things have to change for the better for the poor/uneducated/unfortunate and most of that population is our own...
Actually it isn't, that's another lie that we've bought into because they are constantly talk about it in the media. why do you think there's been more republican voted in office than democrats?
Because of poor/uneducated/unfortunate whites. The big problem is, they don't want to be educated and they continue to vote against their own best interest every time, and we all know why.
I was talking percentage wise.. Of course it's more rich whites than any other race in this country and of course it's more poor whites than any other race in this country. The huge problem is we have very few blacks compared to the white race and the "man" been doing what ever he can to not make us the second largest population..(It's actually been working, because we are no longer the second largest race, it's been that way for a lil while now)...
The whole thing in a nut shell is we've been convinced all that "our" people been through should be forgotten even without an apology.. We've been brainwashed into believing it is "un AMERICAN" to ask for what was promised to our people years ago for slavery/segregation, in fact they have made our people feel we should be ashame to even bring it up...(because after all we should be able to do for ourselves)... It ain't about doing for ourselves.. we did for ourselves when we were SLAVES...Actually we did more for ourselves then, we were forced to stick together back then..
Your logic is illogical.C.O.G the simple difference between your position and mines is...I don't empower them by giving a crap, I know who I'am and I long since stop needing their validation.
That's not to say that I don't put them in their place when I feel it's needed or that I don't get upset. But to allow them to decide how Ishould feel about what goes on in my community to me is worse than being call one, because than I'd be acting like one.
Same thing is true for welfare. There are more whites on it than blacks. Now the percentage of blacks compare to our numbers in America may be more.Actually it isn't, that's another lie that we've bought into because they are constantly talk about it in the media. why do you think there's been more republican voted in office than democrats?

General Sherman should have been president. It is he who began giving reparations then the congress repealed it and gave the land back the whites. I am still an advocate for reparations. But as I said, Ibama dare not touch that. A white president or a future black president has to do that. Not Obama.I was talking percentage wise..
