Jerry Rice Has Found Enlightenment About Black Lives Matter

Jerry Rice wants to be educated.

In a tweet posted on Wednesday, the Pro Football Hall of Fame inductee admitted he was oblivious to how dismissive and overtly racist the phrase “All Lives Matter” was in the in response to the Black Lives Matter movement.

What these black celebrities fail to remember is that if they were not celebrities they would be just another ni$$a to certain group of people in power.

problem is we don't "own" the media so even the celebrities we clamor to speak will hesitate as the people around them aren't what they grew up with in most cases

He obviously didn't think saying so was offensive in the context he used it. A lot of people say ALM because that what they believe, not necessarily to be dismissive of BLM.

I'm just not going to sit back and think that a dude who grew up damn near in one of the poorest part of the country in a state where part of the flag is the flag of the confederacy, who played and graduated from one of the most rural universities in American and lived in one of the gayest cities in America has no earthly idea of what Black Lives Matter means.

He said he didn't know about the movement, so he just arbitrarily said All lives Matter? That's a blatant lie. And even if he is being truthful, that's even more troubling.
