All the conservative views; the Reagan-like views; the racist views in disguise come from Farwell. He thinly disquised hates blacks.
I started not to enter this thread becasue all I could think was Moms Mabley's joke "You never say anything about the dead unless it is good. He is dead...good."
That is what comes to mind, but not my hope. i hope he is RIPPING. It is good for our race that he is gone.

I slept well knowing that he's kicked about four cans. I don't care WHO says they will miss this guy- HE IS THE RACIST ESTABLISHMENT. The man NEVER renounced segregation. He upheld it with the word of GOD. He even tried to start a campaign to FUND SOUTH AFRICAN APARTHEID. If you're black and you miss this cat then I hope you TOM your way towards Ward Connely's backside.

Actually, he did renounce segregation, even performing interracial marriages at the Thomas Road Baptist Church. He was also staunchly against apartheid but thought that sanctions against the apartheid regime were not the correct way to approach the issue.

He said plenty of stupid stuff. His mouth got him into plenty of trouble. However, both his politics and his theology about the races changed over time.
