Jenkins fired





Just give your Interim AD the job, Hornets. Look at the program she came from?

She can raise funds and learned from a really good admin in Aggieland.

She’s vibrant, smart and has a great personality. She’s done a fabulous job. The new president has some major personnel decisions to make. We can only hope his decisions are advantageous to the university. Keeping the current interim AD would be a great decision.

pogue would make a lot of sense. He knows the state and can recruit it...something jenkins struggled with (though I don't believe his own fault...when he arrived they had no info on who was being recruited).

He and the AD were determined to break all continuity with the former coach and his staff. It’s a business and I understand it. But in hindsight, looking at the success the former staff is currently having in their new jobs, it was the wrong decision.

Pogue wanted to get with Barlow when he was at ASU but it never happened. Him going to Troy was the best thing. If he was smart he would stay at Troy and not fool with the Hornets because they change coaches like changing clothes.

Hell yeah! Jenkins’ time is up. All I am saying is that Pogue has more stability where he is now because ASU change admistratiions and coaching staffs frequently.

She's also a millennial that knows how to get us to DONATE! It also seems she and the new president are on the same wavelength.

Lol...she got me to make a sizable donation to the Hornet Club with that smile. She and the new president both have approachable personalities.

Three years to prove your self is not enough time? Barlow had 8 years. SHEESH!

It’s a business decision. A sizable pay increase and being in charge with an opportunity to make a name for your self in your chosen profession will be hard to turn down if offered. Woodrow McCorvey turned us down in the 1990s waiting to become an FBS head coach. He made a lot of money at Alabama, Tennessee and now at Clemson as a position coach but he never became a head coach.

JC, you might as well ignore him. He spends most of his time on here posting negative things about ASU
 
It wasn’t that long ago Pogue was HC at Carver High in Montgomery. He discovered Jeremy Johnson who was former QB @ Auburn . I agree very risky move for them to want him. Risky for him to accept the offer too! Hornets are not patient. They don’t have the patience for him to learn how to be a HC especially when winning immediately is on the agenda.
 
Will Donald Hill-Ely get the job permanently? He's a really good man, and will work to graduate his players. He also has connections to Texas.
 
Bama State. You guys will be alright. You are pretty much winning Championships in everything else. Very consistent across all sports.
