Jehovah Witnesses Revisited

I have a friend who is a Jehovah Witness. He said HELL is not mentioned in the BIBLE. Something to the effect that no one is going to HELL! That is ONE GOOD reason to study the BIBLE for yourself. If you don't know JESUS, guess where you are going???
 
He probably said that because the Jevohah's Witnesses have their "own" Bible if I am not mistaken.

Ask him about the founder of the organization. The founder didn't want to accept that hell exist, so he came up with his own doctrine, Bible, and publication (The Watchtower).

They do have a specific Bible they prefer to use. I have read in it before and it reads similarly to The Holy Bible. They use their own because it is a DIRECT TRANSLATION (in their eyes) and not a VERSION of the Bible...ie. King James Version, NIV, etc. I know this because I have attended one of their Bible Studies and "meetings" before. Meeting=going to church.

I have read about their found before, and if the documentation that I read was correct, he began as a muslim. I think he has ties with some named Pharr. If I am wrong, forgive me. It has been a while since I read it.
