Broke Family Tour:

t had to happen eventually: With no work coming his way, Michael Jackson, sources say, has agreed to do a tour with sister Janet and his brothers.

I'm told that Michael reluctantly met with his siblings on Monday in Las Vegas. Sisters Janet and Rebbie, as well as Jermaine, Randy, Marlon, Tito and Jackie, all knocked on Jackson's Las Vegas door around 7:30 p.m. Nanny Grace Rwaramba, who runs the door, made them wait between 30 and 60 minutes before allowing the brood in.

What was discussed was the family's financial situation and the fact that Jackson has so far been unable to get work in Vegas. Sources say concert promoter Leonard Rowe of Atlanta, who worked with the Jacksons in the 1980s, was there and made a proposal: a family tour with all members.

The weird thing is, Michael seemed to understand what was happening.

The family just needs to downgrade their lifestyle and Janet can shoot them some money. She's not broke and Michael is not broke either. 7 million a year and he can sale the elephant man bones or the beatles cataloge and get the whole family off the hook. Sit down mike you have purchased everything humanly possible what more do you need.

Regardless of what you think about Wacko Jacko, that tour would rake in MILLYUNS........

I'd pay to see all the Jacksons performing together....

Especially if they let Rebbie sing 'Centipede'.....

Man I was about to purchase my ticket to see Rick James back in 03 or 04, and I said, "Hell he comes to ATL every spring, I'll see him next year." and then he died. The same with Luther. I'm not missing anymore concerts.

I saw James Brown in Macon some years ago.

'Centipede' is a nice track. I listen to it all the time at home...

I hope they let Jermaine do a solo act too. He has some hits!!! I'd love to see him perform Let's Get Serious...and maybe bring Stevie up on stage to perform it too.

He without a doubt doesn't get due credit. His talent wasn't that of Michael or Janet, still Let's Get Serious and Don't Take it Personal both went #1 on the R&B Charts with a few more hits in between. He also discovered and signed Switch to Motown. Maybe he would have had more hits if he and the labels he was a part of didn't try at times to capitalize off of Michael's success.

There's nobody out there capable of putting on a better concert.
 I totally agree ...

You can call the Jackson family dysfunctional
You can call them weird
You can call them confused
You can even call them "done got awfully OLD to be touring"

... but you GOT to recognize that fact that they were AWESOME entertainers!
