Jameis Winston being investigated for point shaving

The NCAA is actively investigating allegations Florida State QB Jameis Winston was involved in a point shaving scheme to help another college football player win a $5,000 bet ... TMZ Sports has learned.


We've learned ... the NCAA enforcement staff is actively trying to contact individuals it believes may know anything about the alleged plot.


The investigation stems from a report that Winston conspired with an old high school buddy -- UAB football player Chris Rabb -- to tank the 1st half of the FSU vs. Louisville game to help Rabb win a $5,000 bet.

I have never seen one player be such a lightning rod for trouble. I know Johnny Manziel had some issues, but his stuff was minor stuff. Winston is being accused of doing some serious stuff every 2 weeks.
 
Florida State is about to dismiss him from the team and school very soon. They have no choice.

What other "serious stuff"? You know this one is b.s. but what else SERIOUS "every 2 weeks"?

I just don't understand how one cat can muck up so much. Dude was having bebe gun wars and stealing 4 wheelers his freshmen year for christ sakes. I really wonder what was the real reason he didn't end up at Bama. I think he might have had some baggage in high school

I have never seen a player a Heisman trophy winner at that be attached to so many negative things.

Only one is serious and that one is probably a false accusation (like your boy Treon Harris)

The point shaving is bullshat and you know it.
 
And with the 32th pick in the 2015 Draft, the Cowboys select....

Then again, JJ doesn't like black QBs since the Carter experiment flopped went bad :(

But all of them are stupid. Everyone makes mistakes but when it's one stupid thing after the next then we have to start questioning his intelligence. He's in the spotlight and always doing something dumb.
 
The state of Alabama elected a Republican to the house for embezzling. I notice no one complains when white folks do crime. Oh, I get it, screw the nikker.
 
I am fond believer in second chances...society gave me a second chance and I make the damn best out of it. Once a month I go back in to the prison system to help young men who are just like Jameis. They had a promising life but one stupid thing led to another...then another...then another. When they reflect upon their life they saw the downfall. Jameis is in a great position but in my opinion lacks the understanding of how he is messing himself up.

I think a visit to Ray Caruth would work marvels on him because he would see where these decisions can potentially lead him.
