We played the #1 team (Oregon) a few days ago and got our beatdown AND had our game uniforms stolen. Had to play in practice unis.

It wasn't so bad.

Mississippi State won by 67 last year. I figured if JSU could keep it between 30-40 points it would be a moral victory for JSU. They did that.

Ameshya Williams proved what we already knew - she has the size and talent to play with MSU. The rest of the team was overmatched but played hard. The defense was good at times. Can't afford to miss 22 free throws though. Gotta work on that.

Definitely was an improvement from last year. Hamer had her worst game of the season. I expected more from her. Ameysha didn't disappoint. You can tell she has been waiting for this game. Those missed free freethrows as well as layups gotta be addressed. I'm sure Reed and staff gonna get that worked out. Looking forward to the rest of the season. Much more depth this year

JSU didn’t play a bad game..... nowhere near what the score stated.... I watched the entire game and was impressed with JSU... they will be a top 3 team in the SWAC.

I think MSU held back but missing free throws and turnovers are killers. Was Hamer injured? She was a non factor.
