Largest ENROLLMENT. TSU has a totally different culture... I think of TSU like a Univ. of Pheonix or something. lol. I have a cousin that goes to Texas So. I called him about the game, seeing if he was going... he said "What game".... You are looking at a school with a large enrollment but you have 70-80% commuters and I think there's a disconnect there. The good majority kinda just go to school.. no extra stuff. You should see that BEAUTIFUL Basketball Arena EMPTY.

If the band was there we probably would have won by 40. Our fans were in their team's head like they were in Memorial.

That is why we needed the band there...in fact, since the band has came to Houston since 1993, I am sure that some took it for granted that they would be there. Regardless of who is to blame (if Liddell, Mason needs to mandate that we travel FOR the fans), if the university (finances), we need to work on funding.

The band traveling is something that our fans and team deserve. That is all I am saying.

Even though we are the largest based on students. We are the smallest in land size.

We are landlocked by Govt Housing on one side and residential housing on the other three sides.

What does that have to do with Attendece? Where is the fan support?

I'm willing to bet your momma don't even like you.

Great jsu won the game, but that is no excuse to be an asshat. Show some of that class like you are use to winning you allways say JSU has.

Brotha, you don't have to put other people down to make yourself look bigger. Bigger men stand out anyway no matter what size they are.

I feel ya but dude is all ways being an azzhole! I figure he may not know. You know sometimes when people are this way no one ever tell them, so they really have no idea. I wanted to make sure this was not the case.

We thought the 3rd ward refs would help, but they got confused by all the jsu fans and were unsure who the home team was.

One question, is it not strange that no one from TSU was posting durnig this game? You know we all don't live in Houston.

Now THAT is a downright lie. JSU had a couple of small pockets of fans on our homeside and had the visitors side filled but to say most of the fans are Jacksonians is a lie.

Correction:

Not to burst y'alls bubble but those bleachers were not brought in for JSU; they were there for the AAMU game and will be for the rest of our home games and TSU Relays in March.

It has alot to do with Attendence. As for fan support?

We are in the fourth largest city in the nation. Not some small 500,000 or less city (no smacking here). We have to compete with so much other crap that we cannot draw a large crowd all the time. This also include PV.

Look at what we have.

1. Texan
2. Rice
3. UofH
4. Clubs
5 Other entertainment

We are the youngest of the SWAC. So we are trying to build the fan base like GSU,SU and JSU, but it will take time.

The last two game we have had close to 9000 people on campus. That is a huge improvement from years ago. We will get there. It just take time.
