I heard that boy's name all night...where has he been all season long? :look:

I brought up Steel Adams a couple of weeks ago and Fiyah accused me of being his girlfriend. Maybe this game shows I know a little something about the game and how to win one. :shh:

Actually it just shows how limited we are at running backs now. Hopefully Adams will step up to the task and not fumble anymore games away.

Maybe that wouldn't be a problem if the running backs get the kind of reps they need to be effective in games.

Preseason talk about a running game was extremely positive. The hurricanes haven't helped, but in the games played running was again ignored as it has been for years. When it has been pushed for example yesterday. . .Alcorn last year. . . it can work. When you limit your options everyone loses. You can't have an effective running game without repetition. Taking guys in and out of the game is not going to get them going as a matter of fact it could be contributing to the injuries.

Well I think it's safe to say that if the starting runnig back don't get enough reps (although I don't buy that excuse) the backups sure as heck doesn't either, yet some how they find a way to hold onto the ball better.
