Jackson State vs Alabama A&M: Game Updates - 1:00pm CT


I was at the game and I can truly say that both teams looked horrible. JSU and A&M could be much better if they both had better coaching. JSU does have a good receiver (81) but he is not utilized enough and he cannot win by himself. He was wide-opened on at least five or six plays but Ivy could not get the ball to him. I agree that he was double covered a few times but he was opened too many times and the ball did not come anywhere near him. Both defenses suck and the offenses are not too much better. JSU special team is awful! The majority of this comes down to recruiting and coaching. I am a die-hard JSU fan/supporter but I am disappointed in the coaching. AAMU won....Congratulations!!!:)
 



The game actually reminded me of the '07 game with all of the back and forth scoring and potential for a dramatic game winning score by JSU at the end. But alas the game did not have that happy ending as it did in '07 and was played by lightweights instead of heavyweights.
