Jackson State University Tigers NSD 2016

4.9 is more accurate looking at his tape. That number is not as bad as you think. You know how many true sub 4.5 guys there are in the swac? Very few.

May have deceptive speed. Looked pretty quick to me. I like the fact that he's tough, can make guys miss, and very hard to bring down

Right. Every skill player claims to run a 4.5 on their Hudl accounts, then when they run the 40 at their pro day, 4 years later, they're running 4.75's and what not. Lol. A RB who runs a 4.65 with good vision and technique can dominate the SWAC.

OK, you left off Terrell Kennedy, Anthony Nelson, Dequan Hicks, Dario Robinson, Deshawn Tillman, Kendrick Catchings, Justin Blue, John Bridges.

We had 19 signees total in 2015, 19 players from the sip in this class. He recruited all these guys in a month lol great job.

And don't forget Daveon Ball from Noxubee, too. That was the one guy I felt we had to have. Unfortunately, he double-signed with a Hinds CC so grades might be an issue for him. If he makes it over to a JUCO program, Hughes will have to stay on him. He'll be an SEC signee in 2 years.

The guys in bold are mid-year transfers and are already on campus. I think there's an article somewhere on this board about them.

It's good to recruit MS, but I want to win. I don't care where they're from if we're winning. If we're losing, I don't care if the starting QB went to the same high school I did.

Naturally in MS, you want to start in the state, but a low population, academic woes, the number of FBS schools in a 5-hr radius, the JUCOs and the dreams they sell to recruits makes it hard to focus on the state primarily. I think Hughes is the best man for that job, but he's gonna be tested.

Is the guy from Southern Lab on the list? Also, there is another DB from Episcopal in BR...Preferred walk on

Dario and Deshawn are both two guys that will hit the field this fall and should be able to fill vacancies left by Fosselman and Ted T

JSU got a couple of gems in Roddy from East Fel and Sullivan from Zachary. Did the 2 backs from Belaire sign?
