It is very difficult to become a JSU Drum Major. This is a Leadership Position that one has to earn; however, the Title is not given to a individual
just because; consequently, there is a University that is next door to the State of Mississippi that will Promote, just because. The only hand-out
you will receive in this Dynamic Program is your uniform, if you pass the Audition Process. With that being said, regardless of what instrument a
Individual specializes in does not Conflict your Leadership Tenure. “NOTE” If you take time and research the History of Drum Majorship at JSU,
one of the very best Drum Majors that created the High Knee Lift Technique played the same instrument and was very, very, very, Outstanding.
The style is still used today as we speak. In closing remarks; sit back and enjoy and support our Student’s. Hopefully, what ever program
that you are affiliated with will try; yes I mean “TRY’ to get on this level of Perfection. See you in the Fall; 60,000 plus at every home game regardless of a stadium on the campus with New Turf. 🎶🎶🎶
