Jackson state should be fine

JSU did NOT even schedule Hampton until we had the blessing of the conference!! Blue and MH, this ain't good...Just ain't good. I can see you all having something to say about us scheduling down but this is pure hate and jealousy. I would be mad to if I were Bluedog and had to deal with Allen and TxCollege...LOL

If you remove JSU from the equation, you too agree that there should be a penalty for not following a mandate. Anybody would. Thats my point. No way can you get hate and jealousy out of it.

I say all of the schools presidents, AD's and coaches go to the commissioners office and rectify the problem than penalize JSU. Can't have JSU thinking they can violate policy and not be held accountable for it.
 
TP, go ahead and agree with him so he will be satisfied. I mean, by you agreeing doesnt equate to anything happening, but him being happy that the "Logical One" agreed with him. Cause the SWAC Office has given their blessings and moved on.

Well, be my guest and go for it. By the time you make your way to every school and talk to every president, AD, and coach and entreat them to go to the SWAC office and complain. And by the time you finally get an answer from the SWAC office, I'll be in Orlando cheering my team to victory. :D

If you like just not on my thread there is already one open on that topic and while your in orlando you can figure out how to come up with a rational reason Why those two games has anything to do with the SWAC let alone with SU beating any of the SWAC schools.

Why would you all schedule them if your fans, alumni, and supporters dont like "scheduling down"? That is the topic at hand.

How many ways do I have to say that I for one am not going to lose any sleep over it. As long as we beat teams in our conference I could care less what anybody that isn't a SU alum/fan says about it.

The bottomline..........we have the trophy and nine other schools and three other states want it and it seems that a lot of you haven't learn from last year.

Now you can take the position that your knucklehead alum takes and that is I'm jealous that we don't have Bell and that you all haven't won a championship since...........when 96? But we already talk about how smart you are so I know you won't entertain that stupidty.
 
I agree with Bluedog.

If it can be proven that Culby knowingly scheduled the TxSO game just to get a conflict, then JSU should be fined.

But JSU should do it again next year. We should schedule SU for the last Sat in November next year, and Grambling for the last Saturday in November for 2006. Pay the fine, and go on about our business.

JSU should not have to abide by this mandate simply because we are bigger than the SWAC. We already play in a conference that cant give us a dime from a useless championship game, handcuffs us from the playoffs, and has proven to have the most incompetent leadership in the history of organized sports.

But Blue....
You have to realize this sounds like sour grapes. Since SU has no ambition and wouldnt think of trying to make a competitive schedule, your AD would never do this. You guys are happy with the SWAC limiting your money makin ablility, limiting your exposure, and limiting the football experience for your fans. If you are happy with playing TxSU and PV, knock yourself out.
We dont want to do that.

You are so right I jealous because we don't have a coach that has ruin a once proud and historic football program, I'm jealous that we have won 4 out of the last seven swac titles and you have none in almost ten years.

I'm jealous that Pete hasn't isolated the fans and students to the point that they boo him every game, I'm jealous because Pete hasn't run off the best wide receivers that we have.Are you sure that you and TP didn't pay for your grades?
